  • Not bad. Good effort. Tough as hell song. I wouldn't have the guts to try this one on stage. Bravo!

  • Thats not a bad attempt for a though song. Lead vocals needed the mic louder. Voted: Like

  • bravo. nice job by the drummer especially.

  • hahaahaha

  • sounds great, keep up the good work and wear you hair any fckin way you want to!!!

  • I like it! Great haircuts by the way...

  • Get a hair cut, get some spirit into your playing, get better jeans, put more energy into being original, dont try to be like the who, in fact youll never be the who no matter what you do.

  • @TheLemonAid go bum yerself and grow some hair you nazi

  • @TheTopher68 I am a communist...

  • This is why so few PROFESSIONAL Rock Bands attempt Who songs on a regular basis...

  • you dont like it?

we know we could of done better and we have, like for instance vocal harmonies, but i think it doesnt suck here

  • quite to the contrary... I think you guys showed a hell of a set of balls attempting one of the hardest songs in The Who catalog...my comment was primarily directed at all those poser bands that don't even attempt a Who cover...keep up the good work and I look forward to more vids from you guys!

  • The drummer is the least disappointing part. Guitarists were just terrible...have you ever heard of some distortion? And, beside the drummer, the performance was very boring. F.

  • cut your hair you guys look gay

  • sing louder - can't hear a bl**dy thing old boy!

  • ambitious is clearly the best thing you can say about this. great tune. decent effort, but if you've proven anything it is how above and beyond the who were as a band.

  • The musicianship wasn't really all that bad, a hard song to learn and play in its entirety. But, if you haven't already, and you probably have, watch The Who performing this on the Rolling Stone Rock and Roll Circus. Study their moves. The drummer here has the Keith Moon animation down...now just work on jumping around like Daltry and Townshend!

  • the ninetys finished 8 years ago

  • considering this tune is from 1968 relegates your observation as somewhat ignorant....

  • talkin bout their mmm bop hairdos

    Yeraspreadifaveverseenwan

  • well this sing is very easy to screw up... soooo, you guys didnt do half bad...

  • they are right on to be a bad cover band- now lets right some great new sings, shall we boys- or go back to school and cut her hair

  • It's actually pretty good except for the intro.

I see the drummer copies Keith at 1:32!!!!

P.S. The cymbal stands look a little weak!

  • god choice of song, but you should really try someting shorter and less complicated.

    Drum = C+

    Vocals= E

    Guitar= D+

    Bass= D-

  • dude

the intro was kind of bad.the drums were alright.you guys need to move around and sing louder,i couldnt hear shit.you guys kinda messed up around ivar the engine driver, and the drummer took long to put the floor tom back.

    finally,it finished!!

  • contratados!!!

  • maten al bajista!!! Bien la batería! Violen al cantante!!!

  • Don't take any guff from these swine ! You guys pulled off a complicated hard rock song with talent and, from the sound oft it, no acoustics. Either way, I'm, from thousands miles away, am proud that you'all chose A Quick one While He's Away. Best damn Who Song of ALL time

  • Good try dudes! I'm so proud that you chose this song!

  • please stop playing in a band...

  • very hard to match john's falsetto..but you guys tried. not bad, keep it up!

  • guitar wasnt that bad, vocals were aabsolutely rotten

  • singing...so...bad

  • drummer= win

rest of the band = fail

  • U GUYS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

  • this used to be my favorite who song :(

  • the singing is terrible

  • looks like the drumer is the only one enjoying this

  • they should use a metronome to play this song ...

  • yeah !! please dont cover the who at least not this song...

  • dont cover the who...just...dont.

  • Why not? I liked it. And it seems a lot of others do too.

  • I quite liked that too. It's true that The Who songs are extremely hard to cover because of the skills that both keith and john had. For example i can't imagine copying Real Me, won't get fooled again or The Ox.

But i must say that this drummer is very good.

I would even say it's in keiths style ;)

    Good work :)

  • i agree, im not taking anything away from the band. just nobody should ever cover the who or jimi hendrix.

  • great drummer

  • great drummer

  • great drummer

  • yeah

  • Yo, drummer, really like your work! Moon is my idol, and I think you played his parts quite well. Bass was not as good, but I still thought it was great. If you plan to make it big, I'd kick one of the guitar players. If you really need 2 guitars, the singer can occasionally use one.

  • Nice job - anyone who says otherwise is full of crap. Keith would have been proud of your drummer, no doubt.

  • Great drummer,But get rid of the extra guitar.

Work on the harmony (lots of it in this song).

  • opening vocals? im sorry those wer just weird but the rest of its pretty good. good drummer too.

  • The drummers awesome.

  • The impression I get is that the only thing that you guys are missing is confidence. For the rest, awesome. And the drummer rocks

  • Impressed at the effort!! Not a bad job atall!

Just the fact that these guys are attempting this piece earns my respect, whatever thats worth...

  • The dummer is very Keith Moonish. You guys need to move around more when you do Who songs.

  • respect for the effort man, who are you oo oo oo oo, vocals low but hey better than what i can do

  • soooo wrong, first....2 guitarrist on a who song? are you fuckin mad? next the drummer is doing this a great drummer would do...but not what keith moon would do...and then whatsup with the fuckin harmonies? that song has loads of harmonis

  • that was good but you gotta throw that drum out your way like keith

  • wow. just plain sucks balls. dont even need to say why. drums were okay tho

  • Nice work. It's good to hear that this song still gets played. I really enjoyed hearing this, in spite of the muddy sound.

Fantastic drumming! I'd like to offer a hint, though. Notice how in the videos when Keith Moon removes the snare, he uses that movement as an economical way to bang the cymbals as an intro to the next bit. And he does this without dropping the beat! Still, I really liked the drumming in this video.

  • Do you know why The Who played this song? Because they got paid to! Now go smash your equipment.

  • There are some guys laughing at the beginning...

    i hate that

  • Good stuff. The vocals are really important part of this song.

  • absolutley great

as stated not an easy cover, great music,

    amazing drumming

  • Really good drummer. Tough song to pull off.

  • you guys had the music down just kick up the vocals you know with the whole band singing in harmonie and then i'd be a kick ass cover

  • I really, I dont know why people gave such low stars.

  • a couple of guys up there are a bit robotronic, but they can play. the drumming is kickass.

you can hear the drums over everything because this isn't a professional live recording. there's a camera mic and that's it. dumbasses.

  • the drummin was the only good thing the rest look too quiet and emotionless.

  • IM DRUMMING FOR THAT SONG AT DOWNINTOWN PAUL GREEN SCHOOL OF ROCK, Isnt that ivor the engine drivor part hard on your arms, it is for me. Im gonna through the floor tom in the show after the well soon be home part, beacause thats what keith moon did at the rockn roll circus

  • well 1 i don't have money to fix/buy a new tom to replace it if it broke 2 it joe reno's kit so i don't wanna piss him off now do i?

  • Hey bass player... TURN UP THE VOLUME!

  • I was givin' her all she's got Captain!

  • For shame, because there was some great bass work there. Entwistle's lines should always be up front.

  • Thanks, I was at a volume where it wasn't overbearing but it was noticeable. Plus you never know what kind of sound you're going to get with a video camera.

  • I think it's the position of the camera really, it probably picked up the left guitarist and drums a lot and the rest were drowned out.

  • Need some rehearsal boys, but you're brave to have a go

  • really good drumming man!

  • yer just dont bother playing again

  • vocals are too quiet, and not very good :P

But still pretty cool seeing guys play this song :D

  • the backup singers were very unenthusiastic. the uitar player nearest to the caer wasnt that good. everyone else was fine.

  • Im 44 years old and its really awsome to see you young guys playing the classics! Refreshing and amazing. Better than todays music.

  • thats sick

  • thumbs down

  • nice ass

  • Cant hear the singer, but I like the keith Moon style drumming...guitars are good.

  • I agree. The drummer has *DEFINITELY* done his homework.

  • why thank you guys, i love the who with all my soul, kieth moon is my idol i wish i was half a good as him

  • No one can touch him but you've done a great job here lad...great, great drumming.

  • and then ya got kicked out

  • The beginning vocals are meh, but check out them tasty bass licks supplied by yours truly.
