Brothers, lets not put another at fault. The teachings of Rasulullah is not to demolish one's culture or tradition, as long as it does not promote shirk. Eg. Rasulullah did not stop the sahaba from eating dhob. This is our culture, and it does no harm to our iman. It is just a way for us to sing our praises to Rasulullah saw. Allahu taala a'lam.
Poems Only. But this is a form of Ibadah not taught by our beloved prophet to the sahabahs. Is the leader in this group better than our beloved Prophet? The teachings of our beloved Prophet insufficient? Why replace the teachings of our Prophet which are already perfect with something that does not come from our beloved Prophet and Allah? I am not trying to change you but to inform you.
