  • the whales you are hearing are indeed northern residents, but the first pods are R clan animals.

    I think they are also transients which means they eat other mammals, like seals, other whales, sharks, etc. Unlike the non-transient who eat only fish.

  • nevermind, they are residents. Resident meaning only fish eating. Man, how could I be so stupid. Its even says they're fish eatingin their name. Southern RESIDENT orcas.

  • I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I want to go to British Columbia, Canada, to see the resident orcas, do you know if the Orca - Watching tour it's ok ? Also I want to know if there are cheap hotels or something like that in British Columbia. THANKS !

  • T_T i was born in victoria bc.. and i live in saskatchewan... i really really want to go back over there... the view is beautiful, the water is beautiful.. and my grandma and grandpa brought me whale watching.. i love whales.. i want to go back so badly!
