This poem made me cry...I lost a friend a lil' while ago, who wasn't that much older as me, like you said in your poem, and that's why your poem made my heart beat even harder and let tears run over my cheeks. But I'd like to thank you, for writing this. It's wonderful.
"perhaps we're all just six years old, and while out bodies may have grown in shape, our needs are so pittifly small" this verse really stuck out to me.
