  • john allegro and the dead sea scrolls... look into it if you haven't already

  • Many, many people claim psychedelics to "distort" their world. Just listen to 4:51. But who's to say that our 'normal' state isn't the one that is distorted? Perhaps psychedelics REVEAL the true world. Which if you think about it, is a far more terrifying concept then your brain just making up a few crazy hallucinations. I believe this is why some people are unable to handle the experience.

  • @blackmetalblunt That's been my outlook on psychedelics for a long time. We only use such a small part of our brain its highly possible that we are just seeing more of "real" reality. The fact that large doses of mushrooms or DMT and such can give you such amazingly enhanced senses that you see the world in higher dimensions than the 3rd, but yet would be unable to comprehend these dimensions otherwise, that would seem like a give away to me. But im no scientist, thats just imo

  • Check out John Allegro and what he found to be the truth of the origin of the concept of a GOD amongst primitive man

  • @TronaldDump420, The abrahamic concept or Dharmic concept? The two are quite diffrenet, and they vary.

  • i made the best "jesus was a mushroom" t-shirt. check it out, buy it, wear it, spread the word....

check my page for the link and check out my psychedelic vids as well .. thanks

  • Does anybody know when this was aired?

  • In his unauthorized biography Steve Jobs (remember him?) said that his psychedelic trip was the TOP experience of his life.

  • @sustainable2012 that us fucking beautiful man

  • hahahah well we were growing up at the same time

  • PETROGLYPHS around the world WILL EXPLAIN you the WHOLE TRUTH about the _HOLY MUSHROOM and LUCIFER

  • Terence Mckenna is the Modern Day Psychedelic "Prophet". For more understanding on Psychedelics...Especially Mushrooms. Research His Findings. I recommend his first book that Starts it all off...."True Hallucinations: Being an Account of the Author's Extraordinary Adventures in the Devil's Paradise"

Such a THOUGHT PROVOKING BOOK! *A MUST READ*

  • Mescaline - similar to psilocybin?? It's a fucking amphetamine! Where did this doc. study chemistry?!

  • @5147848amp amphetamine is short for alpha methyl phenethylamine. Mescaline has no alpha methyl group so its not an amphetamine. Its a psychedelic phenethylamine. The methoxy groups give mescaline a much higher affinity for serotonin receptors so pharmacologically speaking its more like a tryptamine than a phenethylamine.

  • @ampikine

Look at me spraying my ignorance all over the web. Thanks for clarification. I should have said phenethylamine. It is quite a different compound from psilocybin, nonetheless - a stimulant (as well as psychedelic). It surprised me that this dude didn't acknowledge this difference in the interview.

  • @5147848amp the structure of LSD is completely different to psilocybin but I hear the effects are similar. I've only done psilocybin so I can't say if the effects are similar to LSD or mescaline. The only other psychedelic I've done is salvia and the effects of that are nothing like psilocybin. Weirdly enough salvinorin A acts on kappa opioid receptors. Theres an analog of it that has a higher affinity for mu opioid receptors so its like a cross between salvia and heroin. Its called herkinorin.

  • @ampikine

Both LSD and psilocybin are tryptamines, though, so they're structural cousins, are they not.? The effects aren't similar, as far as I've experienced them, anyway. And according to Terence McKenna and other commentators, psilocybin is unique in that - in sufficient doses - it evokes a voice. He wrote about it in the introduction to his mushroom cultivation guide in a short essay called The Mushroom Speaks, which is viewable online.

  • @ampikine

And by the by - herkinorin? What kind of a corruption in taste is that?! That's a chemical for true stimulus addicts.

  • @5147848amp we know so little about how neurotransmitters and receptors work so tools like this can pave the way to all sorts of discoveries.

  • Jesus says in john6:53-56 except ye eat and drink the flesh and blood of the son of man YE HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU-but if you do EAT&DRINK the flesh&blood of the son of man then he is in you and you are in him and you will have eternal life-he also said that my flesh is MEAT INDEED and my blood in DRINK INDEED-MUSHROOMS IS THE MEAT AND MUSHROOM TEA IS THE DRINK-ACCORDING TO JESUS THE MUSHROOMS & MUSHROOM TEA IS THE ONLY WAY TO ENTER IN TO GODS HOLY PRESENCE-THE BLOOD IS THE KEY AND JESUS IS THE DOOR

  • @billiardsusa it all starts to make sense when you look at it like that doesn't it. Genesis 1:27 if you replace the word man with mushroom then its "God created mushroom in his image". Jesus being the son of god was in fact a mushroom. Nobody comes to god except through the mushroom.

  • I think that the people who ate the mushys have REAL FAITH IN A REAL GOD and this REAL FAITH is what produces positive long term results in their lives----JONH 6:53-56 except ye eat and drink the flesh and blood of God ye have NO LIFE IN YOU----------so the long term end result is YOU HAVE LIFE IN YOU-----and the reason why is because the FAITH doesnt wear off---belief is not a choice ---2+2=4 and I believe that but I dont believe that 2+2=5 and that belief will never change because it is TRUTH

  • Also many plants that contain n, n DMT also contain 5-MeO-DMT but some contain just one and not the other.

Bufotenin(e) is structurally similar to both but it's supposedly not psychoactive in humans.

And, have you done salvia? If so, how do those experiences compare to your others? Salvia has given me my number 1 experience but DMT is almost close second, then LSD, then mushrooms. I'm talking # 1 in intensity not spiritually fulfilling--if you mean positive/enlightening then LSD for me.

  • yeah mushrooms are a top 5 experience, for volunteers who have never done LSD, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, etc.

  • I have done all of the above and mushrooms are THE NUMBER ONE EXPERIENCE that I have ever had but that doesnt meant that it would be like that for everyone-----------those other drugs are very interesting also but i dont think they hold a candle to HOLY BREAD----the magic mushroom

  • eat at least 5 grams but I recommend 10.5 grams made into tea----------drinking all the water and saving the leftover fragments for another day so that nothing is wasted------wait 15 minutes and you will be IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD-------I gaureente it---------be sure and pray before you drink the tea----------peace

  • @billiardsusa

interesting. i haven't done 5-meo myself but i hear it is the most intense.

i have stopped using most psychedelics for the time being but i will be sure to give this a try.

i don't know many people who would say mushrooms are more powerful than the others but it's good to hear your opinion.

  • the results would be 10 for 10 would say it was the number one experiece ever if they would take 10.5 grams of mushrooms made into tea and then just drink the water 10.5 oz of water----ezikial 4:15-17--------and you will be ASTONISHED-----

  • @rick4318-----ive done dmt and lsd and mushrooms but i thought that when you said 5meo-dmt that you were just talking about dmt----------i havent done 5meo---what is it? is it natural?

  • @billiardsusa I haven't done it but I believe it is the venom of the sonaran desert toad, bufotenin. There are probably more sources but that's the only one I'm certain of.

  • @mos619

sonoran desert toads secrete venom that contains 5-MeO-DMT, n, n DMT (I think,) and bufotenine. All three are naturally occuring in the human brain.

5-MeO-DMT is NOTHING like n, n DMT, it is supposedly the most intense chemical known to man. if n, n DMT is the Spirit Molecule, 5-MeO-DMT is the God Molecule.

Read Tryptamine Palace, that's all I can say on the subject, having never taken 5-MeO.

  • I believe trips are great for self introspection and people have looked for god in worse places. I don't attach a religious experience to shrooming specifically but I believe this should be a choice open to the individual based upon the 1st amendment.

  • You've got a very interesting point.

I think bad trips or Devil's trips happen when the person is mentally unstable or doesn't have a good level of conciousness, that happened to some friends.

Fortunately in my case I never had a bad trip with shrooms, that's when I felt the magical connexion between Universe, macrocosm, microcosm and me.

  • I had a bad trip with them once because of a bad body buzz from mixing them with meth which is def not a good idea. I've decided speed and pharmy pills are the 2 things, of all the things I've done, that I should avoid.

On bad trips, I think most they are caused by a bad environment or from concerns about life that the person has weighing on them at the time of the trip.

  • WOW u've tried lots of stuff.

I've heard the name speed but really dunno what it is.

I'd like to try special K.

And you're right when u say trips depend on the moment of the consumer's life, if the person is religious, demons or angels will be seen, but if the person isn't religious is just a way to know your deepest

  • k is about the only drug to my knowledge that I have never been able to get to do but I've not tried to hard as how tranquilizers (ea. PCP) scare me. I know people that have and I'd do it if the option came up tho. Speed however is coke, meth, crank, adderall, etc. X is speed too i guess but I consider it a trip instead. I stay away from speed cause its addictive and it feels like its just way to hard on the body. The buzz just isn't good enough to justify the negatives.

  • keep it in the Holy Garden of God and you will be OK ------------trust God not MAN

  • this guy SUCKS! He was terribly dismissive of Dr. Leary's work. Acting like Millbrook was just some university-funded drug house or something. 90% of what we currently know about the clinical/medicinal uses of psychedelics was based on research Dr. Leary had performed.

Although our government would never admit it, a lot of what we know about criminality/personality types, was built on Dr. Leary's (among others to be sure) work. We'll need another 20 years before we can cite Leary directly.

  • No establishment exists in the world of men in which the fecal stains of politics are not evident.

  • Great work once again mos!

  • true dat, mos' vids are allways the best haha

  • Finaly!

Thanks for the upload, good to see serious mainstream on this long time forgotten issue.

    5 star and fav'ed
