  • "Vengeance is Mine," sayeth the Purrr-secuted. And the Sqeeking Mouse serves the Greesy Gravy.

  • The cat sounds like Bugs Bunny

  • @semiramis005 yeah mel blanc does all(most) of the voices

  • Haha,. the Municipal Zoo Director was C.M. Jones,.. C Jones,. sound familiar? :D Brilliant.

  • The ending is a little like something from Tales of the Crypt!

  • Love the ending. The dog got what was coming to him! Moral is ill-gotten-gains don't last. Never has, never will!

  • 55,000

  • i just love this cartoon it is the best!!!

  • John T. Smith voiced the Dog. Bea Benaderet voiced the Woman. Stan Freberg voiced the Old Man and the Zookeeper. Mel Blanc voiced everyone else.

  • The dog disliked this.

  • Even if he was mean, he doesn't deserve that in his condition.

  • Well, that was disturbing as all hell.

  • Revenge comedies are always the best!

  • @poughkeepsiejohn1 I hear ya!

  • I feel sorry for the dog being fat and helpless.

  • even though the cartoon ended in a dark way, Everyone knew that the dog gets the gravy, and we all applauded for it

  • did you know they actually cut the last part off on cartoon network?

  • @Wickedthtz & abc

  • @Wickedthtz ABC whacked the ending of this last part off, also.I figured they would.

  • hahaha, that dog was really abusive, but the best part is the revenge!!

  • What? No gravy? LOL Funny!

  • Bless you for putting this up I remember looking for this years ago and giving up. I used to tell my friends about this ep but no one ever saw it. LOL too funny by far my fave Looney toon.

  • I ain't seen this in 24 years LOL. Hilarious!!!

  • YOU FORGOT THE GRAVY?

  • What ws the name of the other one where they had the cat and dog and everytime he caught the cat he made him spin the wheel and got a different punishment?

  • 3) The animated movie is about condor. There aren't "Toons from the Crypt". I remember that condor has mother. He hasn't brothers. He often repeats: "Mom! Mom! Mom!". I remember that little condor hatched from eggs and he's hitting in head several times. His mother (with black wings) defends him, because cat (Catnip from "Herman and Catnip"???) tries to eat him. Unfortunately, it isn't "Beaky Buzzard".

    Thank you for help.

  • 1) The animation is about businessman, who teasing some guy. I know that the guy is nice for rich man, because he has a lot of money. The businessman flees to Hawaii. When the rich man lost money - intrusive man found other rich man. Probably Looney Tunes.

    2) Two dogs travels ship, probably father-dog and his son. The dogs are brown and they have black noses. Looney Tunes.

  • Does anyone reading this know which Hubie & Bertie cartoon featured the two of them in a food factory of some sort and one of them gets trapped in a canned food?

  • This dog has the same voice as the construction worker in homeless hare...

  • I love this! WHAT, No GraveVEE!!! They don't make toons like this anymore. Thanks for the post!

  • 6:25!!!

  • Warner Brothers golden era for cartoons was during the Truman administration.

  • sadly the dog went the fate of Mr. Creosote after the credits

  • Wow! Quite a dark cartoon, even by Chuck Jones' standards. Somehow I had missed that one before, thanks for posting!

  • WHAT NO GRAVY

    funny

  • The dog definitely reaped what he sowed.

  • This time, we didn't forget the gravy!

  • What? No gravy? ARE YOU SERIOUS, BRO?!

  • ok guys, heres some trivia....In frame 4:55,the adress was the original home to the warners brothers cartoon dept.the reason it was called termite terrace was bacuase it was so run down. in frame 5:01, the zoo directors initials are C.M Jones.... that would be chuck jones, the guy responsible for the warners brothers catoons. thats too cool.

  • "O-HO! It's you, Timothy! I see you've caught another mouse...I see...you caught. Well, c'mon...you've earned your keep....earned it...."

  • That bully got what he deserved:GRAVY!

  • Probably one of my FAVORITE cartoons ever! Whenever my sister and I are eating together and we get full, we say "No More Gravy." Hahahaaaa! Good Times! :)))

  • WHAT NO GRAVY???

  • jajajaja so nice!!!... thanks

  • gotta love the classic's

  • muhahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaha

  • greedy slob dog

  • ...and THIS time we DIDN"T forget the gravay!" LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my alltime favorites!

  • LOL. people are giving money to a dog

  • @terceljr Here's your reward, mm mm dog.

  • Those steaks are like safety money, aren't they?

  • @YorkistWhiteRose To such an extent where throughout history certain other "meats" were "disposed of", for money; usually in bad economies! Interesting screen name, by the way. Been reading about the Battle of Towton recently...

  • @ancilodon Thanks! You have an interesting name, too.

  • What? No Gravy. Best line in the whole Cartoon. And Yes The Incredible Big mouth dog had it coming even for a dog.

  • I also remember this 'What? No gravy?' cartoon and it has also taken me a long time to find it. Can't believe it's 60 years old!!!

  • @polished1000 what is it about the gravy that he like it so much?

  • How mortifying!

  • I hope they remember to hose down the pet hospital walls of blood and guts hee hee hee. Damn dog had it coming

  • Nostalgic.

  • fuck this asshole dog, he should get his own meals lol

  • This time we didn't forget the gravy...

  • Dog = 1%

    Cat + Mouse = 99%

Dog exploits cat and mouse's talents for his own greed, pays for it in the end.

    Don't be the Dog!!

  • I remember this cartoon as a kid. I only saw it once but it was my favorite episode next to the Pussyfoot cartoons.

  • excellent post, i said this to my wife (what...no gravy?) she thought i lost what little sense i had. love this cartoon! thx for sharing!!!!

  • When I saw this when I was younger, they cut out some of the stuff so it didn't all make sense. Now I see what it was all about with the mouse and the third owner and zookeeper.

  • What if there wasn't any gravy?

  • WHAT? NO GRAVY? I think to this dog, gravy was ketchup-he liked it on everything he ate.

  • That WAS gravy, right?

  • Most WB cartoons of this era had the same themes, threaten, torture, and kill. Amusing in a dark sort of way. The censors kept a close eye on these animators. WB shorts would have been even more graphically violent with a fair helping of nudity, sexual situaitons, and strong language had it not been for the controls of the Hays office.

  • Payback's a bitch. :-)

  • I have also been looking for this forever. Always was one of my favorites.

  • "WHAT? NO GRAVY? (BITCH SLAPS HIM) NEXT TIME REMEMBER THE GRAVY!"

  • Arise, ye prisoners of starvation!

  • haa poor dudes ! all mistreated

  • Excellent!! I have been looking for this for YEARS!! Thanks!!

  • Love the karma at the end of the cartoon where the cat and mouse get even.

"This time we didn't forget the gravy." Love it!

  • MY things were DIFFERENT in 1951!

    Great uncut toon!

  • i think this the funnest one and iam a grown man

  • "what? No gravy?"

  • here sabretooth kitty kitty kitty.... here sabretooth.

    too funny.

  • Top 5 of all time...

  • Didn't that cat look a lot like Bugs Bunny @ 3:59 with that condescending look on his face.

  • @TheTallMan35 Holy crap!

  • So what would we call this cat? "Harold Timothy Butch the Sabre Toothed Alley Cat?"

  • "Well Timothy... I see ya caught a mouse...I see... ya caught" LOL

  • OMG!! My son and I used to quote the lines from this cartoon to each other...just love it!!

  • This time... we DIDN'T forget the gwavy.

I honestly think the cat and mouse killed him.

  • The big dog speaks like Elmer Fudd... but he's mowe clevew than this cwazy huntew. heyheyheyheyheyhey....

  • WHUT?!?!?! NO GWAVY?!?!?!?

  • I FINALLY FOUND IT! Thank you soooo much!

  • bahahaha

  • in nyc (channel 5), they cut 2:16-4:52. i never saw it until they posted the toon here yt. here's the ironic thing, they kept the mouse dressed as the sterotypical african

  • Originally released in June 1951 (1960 Blue Ribbon re-issue). John T. Smith provides the voice of the Chow Hound.

  • "WHAT NO GRAVY?!"

Lol I am so gonna quote this from now on. This was and still is my favorite cartoon from my childhood!!! XD

  • Yes, it's evil and sadistic, but this is a great example of the genius of Chuck Jones. I can see how filmmakers like Joe Dante and Steven Spielberg got their influence.

Oh, and did I happen to mention it's funny as hell, too?

  • my all time favorite cartoon

  • Hold 4 ;D

  • Idk why but this cartoon taught me death from a very young age, Idk how it was able to do that, but it did.

  • Darkest ending to a toon ever! classic....

  • @LiteracyLabyrinth2 I seen this episode and they cut the ending,

  • After the dog went on a binge, the cat and the mouse joined forces to fatten him up more by pouring gravy in his mouth. I think they wanted to kill him for the abuse endured by adding on more pounds..

  • It's cut from an old WB cartoon called "Chow Hound" about 1950....funny stuff.

  • Yes! Love this one!

  • classic!!

  • My favorite cartoon of all time! Thank you!

  • Brings new meaning to "That's all Folks!"

  • Revenge is a bad thing.... sweet revenge in a wonderful thing!

  • @yocuzz100 What's that old saying about revenge being a dish that is best served cold? Boy, does it ever fit here! :D

  • We will always remember the gravy from now on. Thanks for posting and sharing this childhood classic.

  • woah that's pretty harsh

  • Hah! Man, I love this one. Brutal cartoon justice.

  • what???? no gravy??? lol

  • @NZGroupie This time, we DIDN'T forget the gravy.

  • this was cut short, at the end he explodes. maybe too violent, and re-edited it?

  • @NYC032 never saw it where he explodes

  • Wow, this is almost... disturbing

  • Finally found it! The best cartoon of all time!

  • @chino1922 ABSOTIVELY!!!!

  • i love how it ends LOL

  • wow so many referances to the artist behind this cartoon in the newspaper shot.

  • dude the way the dog says "no" at the end..lmao..

  • "What, no gravy!?"

  • LOL! Brillant cartoon! I miss stuff like this! You can't beat 'em!

  • @pointyguitarz But you can pop them.

  • @AlexanderRaccoon LOL! Or you can use that chemical/acetone stuff that kills off toons in "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit!" lol!

  • @pointyguitarz but popping is funnier.

  • I always loved the ending to this cartoon. Talk about karmic payback. And in such an ironic manner.

  • I think I saw this already on an episode of "OZ".

  • I just thought of something. My dog loves soft food from a can, but it always licks off all the gravy before eating the meat! LOL

  • @InternetManable: You're confusing this cartoon with an earlier Chuck Jones cartoon, called 'Fresh Airedale'. In that one a cat, despite his good intentions, consistently gets ragged on by his master; while the dog (who is purely selfish and evil) gets consistently rewarded. Half-way through the cartoon the dog has a nightmare about another dog, who has been lauded in the press as the nation's 'No. 1 Dog' ...

  • I hope that dog got the Se7en treatment.

  • "What? No gravy?"

  • Dude! I forgot all about Number One Dog! Man, it is all coming back to me now!!

  • "This time, we didn't forget the gravy!" LOL

  • Blackface! :P

  • I think a nap will do me a world of good...jivee123

  • Can you upload "number one dog" ? That was the best looney tunes cartoon of all time

  • @blaq7427 IIf I correct, you probably mean Fresh Airedale, it had that No. 1 Dog comment all over the cartoon.

Its already been posted, just type it in and enjoy.

  • GLAD THAT IT'S BACK ON!!!!

  • I saw this on the original "Bugs Bunny Show." It gave me the creeps, even though I enjoyed it, like almost all the WBs. I look at it now (and it still gives me the creeps), but it's a brilliant example of what can happen when greed (or other vices) become an obsession. And I LOVED the payback at the end!

  • To all the greedy politicos in the world Heres the gravy!!!

  • love this...thanks!!
