I'd try and find a collection ( hard cover/soft cover ) so you can get one big chunk so you know if you want to carry on reading or not depending if you've enjoyed it. Depending what you like Marvel/Dc. If it's Marvel I'd wait until The Avengers #1 comes out a fantastic place to start off. If It's DC I'd go for a Green Lantern: Rebirth collection. That's Green Lanterns at there best.

technically Alan Scott , while he did use the name of Green Lantern for awhile was never a green lantern, his power came from magic, not the gaurdians of OA. And goese by Sentinle now. also yeah it's the star saphiers. And Paralax was the fear entitiy so you should show him as a yellow lanter not a green lantern
