Honestly the creation of the new troopers for the toyline is really the only thing I remember from this special, that and the spy's realization that Cobra were the badguys. But that's pretty much it.

I thought the DiC version went off the comic and not the movie, so i also always wondered why they had CC as a snake. cause to the comic series the movie never happened. the CC for comic series is a crimson guardsmen (can't remember who), but The Baroness is the only one who knows this, everyone else thinks its CC whos currently in therapy from a coma. if my memory is right its been around 20yrs since I last saw or read the series.

Notice I said "Thats silly *EVEN FOR* GI Joe". Since you failed to grasp it Ill elaborate. It clearly implies that I thought the show was pretty dumb to start with. But this in particular was even more farfetched and convoluted.

Suspension of disbelief is one thing, but this was throwing it out the window entirely.
