@sierinlang I seem to recall this happening, but not with FF9 (pal versions of FF games don't work, damnit)... Is the emu actually still running in the background? Does it show up on the task manager? I have the same problem with Unreal Tournament, actually.

@MrDrewseph yes its close, i even press alt+ctrl+delete and the client is off, but the ff9 theme still goes on.. so whenever i play im forced to reboot or shutdown my laptop after every session.. i hope someone may/can help me fix this problem..

@sierinlang Do you click "X" when the game is going on? You should first click the "Esc" button then click the "X" to exit out properly. Also, if you end up accidentally pressing the "X" and it has sound, go to the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete), then click processes, and there should be an ePSXe program still running. Click that and click "End Task". That should solve your problem. =)

@ChugokuAru unrar and there is .iso (or anything like that end) and file->open ISO and open that. If still not work then its not playavable in ePSXe (few games not work in epsxe)

works perfectly for me. currently playing DW3 with this. for win vista/7 users, run it as administrator: properties->compatibility->pri­vilege level-> check the run this program as administrator. if you experience pitch black screen , simply try other Pete's OpenGL Video Plugins then manually configure it. If the game still doesn't work, then your iso or cd is corrupted. download PSx ISOs @ emuparadise. they are the best.
