I remember the one with the fencer and she always looked like such a wimp. Then she goes on to say that she wants to be in the olympics!! Please!!

Perfectly, it shows how versatile their ads were back then, and how much filler they had at their disposal compared to today's standards.

It was "The Slender Thread", a very rare 1965 film with Telly Savalas and Sidney Poitier. More the kind of thing TCM would show nowadays, amazing that YTV used to programme stuff like that!

I have to say, as an outsider looking in this whole thing seems... well, strange!
I wish it snowed more here, instead of just extreme heat, dust and bushfires. Urgh.
