I took tkd for about 2 years. havnt done it in about 2 years but this video helped me remember all the commands. I would subscribe if you had more videos. YOu explain everything great. Just make some more vids and i would be glad to subscribe.
@skyroket go for it TaeKwonDo is a fun sport to stay in shape! :D I could give you my free stretching skedule that i used to get the splits just private message me.
Forward stance: 30 degree turned back foot and 3 step forward (bent at the knee). 1 foot-width apart (original form ... more apart = more stability but less forward movement force). Yours was 3 foot lengths apart (not width), too much esp in poomsae.
Back stance: front foot forward 2 steps, back foot turn 90% (this form is stable as it is, widening it puts force on front foot but ur weight should be on ur back foot).
But really, this is better than a lot of dojangs out there :S. I cry.
Attention stance: just like the military, arms straight along your body!!
Bow: traditionally, you were meant to place your left hand on top of your right hand by crossing thumbs-with-alternate-hands, and placing that on top of your lower stomach. Respectful bow to fellow members, to your master and to your parents.
This was fine but ... ready stance: feet parallel and 1 foot LENGTH apart.
attention stance: feet together and parallel (heals touch and toes touch)

umm isn't bowing with your eyes up a sign of disrespect?
alpha1shadow 2 years ago
it is very disrespectful in tournaments most judges will take points off for it when performing kata
