  • great song... awkward silence :|

  • Love Chuck D!!!

  • hip hop at its best (gotta bob your head ) wow ------for-real -Chuck D was bringing it

  • when hip hop is real hip hop,

    rap is real rap,

and def jam records is real def jam records lol.

  • when i was 1 i would stop crying to this song

  • Nothing touches this tune.

  • This tv equal is the reason why I wouldn't mind beating the shit out of some people, whitey and nigger is not the same bitch, fucc you for that no yell

  • Mike Tyson used to enter the ring with this song and his opponent was beat before the fight even started.

  • @FineLatinaGirls lol hahahah lmao oh my gawd now that's funny lol

  • @TVismyopiate The reason I said that was because someone posted a comment (I think it was on this song, or maybe it was on "Today Was a Good Day") that said "Listening to this makes me want to go out and beat up some white guys". Had nothing to do with racism. My point was exactly that good music, regardless of the race, color, or culture of the musician is good music regardless of the race, color or culture of the listener, if the listener is open-minded enough to listen.

  • I found a love for almost ever oldschool rapper...but this....what is with the beat? jesus......

  • @KanapkaDrobakha I'm interested to know what you don't like or why?

  • Chuck D is the man! Best rapper ever!

  • this is truly one of the songs that should have saved our prescious rap music. as much as i liked it when i was a child, nwa was the beginning of the end for us. guns, drugs, whatever else you can name has destroyed our people. welcome to the terrordome.

  • This is a journey.......

  • One of the greatest rap albums of all time. When I first heard it, I wanted to find the nearest Black Panthers chapter and sign up.

  • Who the fuck let flavor flav into PE?

  • @Rockguitarhero462

Chuck D wouldn't sign with Rick Rubin(Def Jam) without his hype man. Flavor is an important part of Public Enemy.

  • @michaeljgenovese oh didn't know/. Its just that flav seems so riddiculous for a serious group like PE.

  • @michaeljgenovese I do think that Flavor lent a comedic element to Chuck D's straight man act that made the whole thing work.

  • is this band only for black people?

  • @Eminem2pacDmxD12

NO. It is only for intelligent people.

  • ILL

  • Hey, I'm a white guy, and I love this band.

  • @nadasine you thought that saying you're a white guy and love this band was necessary or interesting to say? OK, but white people listening to Public Enemy is OLD news, there was hardly a black face at their London gig in fact. This was mid 2000s, though. I believe it's been quite like that forever, or for a long time with PE's audience (UK at least). If it's good music, why the FUCK would race change your ears when listening to it? "Only if you're a victim of racism" is the answer. Think.

  • 8 people are not welcome to the terrordome...

  • Hahaa! I luv them with their millitant asses lol.

  • This song makes me want to beat up white people

  • @judopathoftruth ROFLMAO

  • @judopathoftruth This song makes me want to stab u.

  • @judopathoftruth don't blame your problems on the whitey

  • @Rockguitarhero462 I don't blame my problems on the nigger, I thank his brother Sly Stone for making intelligent, human music that transcends that bullshit. Whilst sounding funkier than a hundred 'funky house' DJs put in a blender.

  • @TVismyopiate just using that term means you qualify for the scum that oughtta be burned alive. cheers from a white guy in canada. gotta go build an igloo now, u bigot trash

  • @jdbankshot Yeah, bookshelf in your igloo? I was referring to a Sly Stone song, which is about as real a comment on racism as it gets. The song is called 'Don't call me whitey, nigger' and the lyrics are that line, then the reverse - meaning either is bullshit! But I don't see you ever bothering to look at the comment I replied to, which uses the term 'whitey' which is equally as racist as 'nigger', which was my point in using it, as an illustration. Be less lazy in judging someone next time.

  • @TVismyopiate look, point blank, you wrote 'i don't blame my problems on the ......' i can't even write it. so, educate me.... what or who, is this n-word? btw, i've been bumpin sly since i was 16, for 20 years now. i've got japanese imports on vinyl of "there's a riot...' & 'family affair', paid 40 each, now worth hundreds... very simple, you used the ugliest word in existence, & u certainly seemed serious & casual about it. any white person using that term with a straight face DESERVES pain.

  • @TVismyopiate .. WTF??!!

  • Pharoahe Monch made me listen to this song.

  • Chuck D, the last Pirates fan

  • this song got mike tyson hype

  • everytime that beat breaks though ima instajizz!!!

  • HUH!

  • Musician: Public Enemy

    Song: Welcome to the Terrordome

Album: Fear of a Black Planet

    Year: 1990 AD

  • Out of control.

  • It's weak to speak and blame somebody else

    When you destroy yourself

  • I got sooo much trouble on my mind, refuuuuse to lose...here's your ticket, hear the drummer get wicked

  • Comment removed

  • if u want to read how Chuck D writes his raps and all that theres a great book he did a interview for, the book that has the name of --HOW -TO. RAP-

plus, theres interrviews in the book with:: Tribe-Called-Quest, Big Daddy-Kane. Masta Ace, Cypress Hill, Pharcyde, Brand Nubian, over 100 of the real legendz

  • still dope after 20 years!

  • Yusef... rest in peace.

  • Iron Mike Tyson vs Razor "Donavan" Ruddock... 1991. Las Vegus.

  • @PMcM1007 yep Iron Mike vs ruddock 2

  • 7 person with fear ! thumbs up

  • Got hooked on rap since I listened to this song.

  • heard this when I was 11 and up til that point I wasn't to familiar with hip-hop, this song single-handedly changed all that

  • This shit sounds just as sick and fresh as it did in 1990.

  • @cameronobscura22 It's infinitely more kick ass than the lame crap out now coming from blacks

  • @Kelly14UK .. 'coming from blacks..' wtf does that even mean? It sounds racist.. did you happen to notice everyone in Public Enemy is fucking black??!!

  • @cameronobscura22 Completly racist. But if you pay attention, some of the rhymes of P.E are kinda racialist. Some are based on P.P ideology, that was obviously a racial isolationist movement.

But I don't care, i love this shit...

  • @RdClZn.. I suppose some of their material was intentionally put in there to piss off 'Whitey.' But, it takes provocation like that to get a message across. I mean, I'm from Alabama and am completely embarrassed about the south's abysmal past. God bless MLK, but I have to admit I would have been leaning more toward the 'by any means necessary' motto;

  • @cameronobscura22.. . Motherfuck the rascist monsters that lynched, bombed, shot, raped, etc... people based solely on skin color, just because they could. Yeah, not too proud of my Caucasian genocidal heritage.

  • @cameronobscura22 Shut up keyboard warrior and stop picking on your allies.

  • @Kelly14UK.. oh, and.. I am NOT one of your allies. Idiot.

  • @cameronobscura22 Lol three hundred years later you get back to me. That just proves what an egotistical PC ARSEHOLE you are. Now piss off and stay out my inbox you fucking ugly offensive trollop hehe

  • @Kelly14UK.. First of all, shitheal.. DO NOT flatter yourself!!! 'took 300 years to get back to me.' Yeah, it took a while because most of these comments are written by handitards like yourself who have nothing better to do than hide behind a computer and spew idiotic drivel you know absolutely NOTHING about. And then you get desperate because you know you yourself are a pathetic Troglodyte, and call me an 'ugly offensive trollop."

  • @cameronobscura22 .. Funny, I see no pictures of you, and there is probably good reason for that. Now go eat some Spotted Dick, you moronic fuckstick! BTW dumbass, this is NOT an inbox, it's a 'comments' page.

  • @cameronobscura22 Lol. I just upload songs with a picture hehe. You look retarded in that shot.

  • @cameronobscura22 coming from blacks means..... the bullshit blacks rap about today...dumbass.damn.

  • @kemetkush.. Did you just call ME a dumbass, you tweeked-out, uneducated rascist fucktard?! Your comments are indicative of MAYBE being an eighth grade dropout, and I'm being nice giving you credit for making it to middle school. You're welcome! Dipshit.

  • @cameronobscura22 Yes Surrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

  • Thumbs Up If Everybody Hates Chris Brings Yuh Here.!

  • rope a dope the evil wit righteous rhymin and weavin and let the good get even.

  • an a amazing collage of samples.

  • Rap music you can feel, not shrug away the boasts. Miss it.

  • Much better than the pop rap that the kids today listen to!

  • Hell YEAAAAAHHHHHHHH! u just can't sit there u gotta get up!

  • Possibly the best rap song of all time

  • @SomaLFM Agreed.

  • this is the tooone

  • YEAAAHHHH BONK!

  • 111,350 views, 6 dislikes!? Damn right!! Nice to read these comments, people can appreciate real hip-hop! Public Enemy is the shit!!!

  • classic

  • real legends of rap music

  • by far the best public enemy track!!!

  • I love metal, and everything for that matter, and this song is the shit

  • ya good song i can jam to this and i love metal aswell

  • We need more of this in today's music to educate the masses! We are missing grown up music!!

  • @OldSkoolforever1 Was just saying that. You hit the nail on the head. Hip Hop is on some Benjamin Button ish.

  • Im a metalhead, and I still think this is fucking awesome!

  • Nastiest thing I've heard. Hazy Shade of Criminal too.

  • This is the song that captures the emotion of our struggle. As youth back in the day!! our struggle to find our way as young Black men and women. It wises you up,while it fires you up, so we will never give up!! No one is safe if someone hates!!

  • Awesome song

  • DAMN i love this song. they KILLED that Temptations sample.

  • PE were the Gang of Four of rap

  • probably the best song ever.

  • @realcloak Maybe a few PTA and church matrons were "...so scared shitless", but your statement that the white establishment (or any establishment for that matter) was scared shitless of a rap group is laughable.

PE was a great band, but their impact on society was way overrated. Nothing's changed since they ruled the music roost in the late 80's.

  • I used to boom this fromy stereo everyday when i was a teen.I miss this music,it still gives me goosebumps. The 90s was my alltime fav decade, these kids today just dont know man. They really missed out on talent, music and the magic that just went down then.LONG LIVE P.E.

  • come on you can get it get get it get it

  • Old School...

  • I normally dont like rap very much but this, this is REAL music. Great song!

  • i haven't heard a rap song that hits as HARD as this track since it was made...every so called "hip hop artist" being pushed on us in this day and age of lackluster music as "the greatest" needs to listen to this album and take notes. THIS is HIP HOP. PERIOD.

  • @randomcreature14 ur comment made me smile dude, respect and.....yeah.......Happy New Year peoples!!

  • The REAL HIP HOP!! This CLASSIC PE...CLASSIC....REAL!!!!

  • Yeah....smooth and precise. UHH!

  • "still they got me like Jesus"....Chuck is a beast

  • @realcloak say word!

  • my 98' still holdin me down

  • @realcloak weed isnt bad. the man says its bad altho the man has smoked it but cant tax it like alcohol and tobbaco. but other than that i feel your comment

  • @drkmanracer302 Weed is bad though. Smoke is bad for your lungs.

  • probably the best rap album and song!

  • I got so much trouble on my mine ,REFUSE TO LOSE.

  • This the baddest group ever!!!

  • Production wise, this is my favorite PE track! There is SO much going on at once! Its a musical collage which is typical of Bomb Squad tracks. Plus one of the best intros the a hip hop track ever!

  • @rawsketch

I agree. It also sounds like complete chaos in an exciting way,

  • I guess five ppl are entitled to their own opinions...or no nothing about real hiphop

  • Been doin' PE fo years mayne!! Though their values and morality is not of my own i still gotta give them their props!!

  • saw this live last sunday, i'm 16 and went with my dad, WAS FUCKING AWESOME.

  • Chuck D is the King and Flav is part court-jester and part herald and what is more a very humble and bloddy nice chap - met him last night in London after seeing them - PE are awesome, even after all these years - just awesome!

  • I remember when this album first came out in 1990. I had literally wore the clear coating off of their last CD and was dying for some new PE. Purchased it before I ever heard it. When I first heard Welcome to the Terrordome, it took me about 2 hours to get listen to the whole song. I kept running it back to the beginning. It was and still is and always will be a lyrical tour de force.

  • The best rap of all time in this Irishman's humble opinion. Here's your ticket...

  • The best rap of all time in this Irishman's humble opinion. Here's your ticket...

  • Vroeger was alles beter! Translated: In the past everything was better!

  • Truly masterful lyrics. Certainly one of the most significant bands of all time.

  • First album I ever owned

    , still moves me now

  • yall cant fuck with dis! WORD!

  • Skinny white man here.

While I hate rap and favour bands like the Ramones and Rammstein, I "rediscovered" PE recently.

They are one of the top ten bands ever to exist. Seriously.

  • @HohenemsRage I guess you could say that PE is "one of the good ones?"

  • @HohenemsRage EEW, you like Rammstein, you like A german faggot who fucks other guys in the arse at his live concerts, you sire, are fucked in the head!

  • @MathiesContego And you sir are ignorant.

  • @HohenemsRage I am not being ignorant, I am being realistic. He does fuck other guys in the arse on stage, like literally, I have seen various videos of him live in concert fucking A guy in the arse, what more proof do you want? Till Lindemann is A pervert, get the fuck over it.

  • @MathiesContego

Is Lindemann's "perversion" affecting your life directly in any way? If not, why the intolerant reaction? What a weird thing to find as a comment on this quality PE masterpiece... Tell ya what, I'll get over Lindemann when you do!

  • @Hembane You're the one who said you liked Rammstein, I was merely stating the obvious, I don't give A fuck what that fag Lindemann does, frankly I am not suprised... After all, germans are the ones who invented the shizer fetish. Bloody germans!

What do you mean by get over it? Are you trying to tell me to have an open mind towards fucking other guys in the arse and shitting all over each other?? Think about what youu just said.

  • @MathiesContego

?? I never said I liked Rammstein. This is getting surreal. And you seem to have a problem with Germans too... and gays in general.

You obviously do care about what people (sorry, "fags") get up to, but why? Why invest so much emotion and anger in pointing out that someone simulates anal on stage? No one is forcing you to watch, lol...

I've thought about what I've said, and I think you've misinterpreted me.

  • @Hembane You did say that you favour Rammstein before! But nevermind.

And of course I have A problem with Germans, they like to shit on each other and they invented scat porn! Germany was also responsible for World War II, I am suprised Germany still stands to this moment.

And yes, I have A problem with gays, if they really wanted us to respect them, then why do they march the streets in parades wearing fucked up outfits? They are fucked in the head.

  • @MathiesContego What a troll.

  • @buraiallanstarforce I am not A Troll, I am A Tauren.

  • @MathiesContego Nah, you're a troll

  • @buraiallanstarforce No, trolls are ugly, I am A beefy Tauren.

  • @MathiesContego Carrying on conversations just to annoy people means you're a troll. Therefore you are a troll. btw you should stop swearing in every single one of your posts; it makes you look like an idiot. We know already, so you don't have to emphasize the point. ;)

    Cheers~

  • @buraiallanstarforce No, A Troll is an entirely different being, do A little research won't you and stop wallowing in your stupid dweeb culture.

  • @MathiesContego Before you bash people about how you don't accept the fact that you're trolling (and this is the internet, I should add; even if you call it 'dweeb culture,' you're certainly a part of it :P), perhaps you should do some research yourself and realize that the letter 'a' when used as a word, is not capitalized. Thank you.

You're making it far too easy to laugh at you. Try harder, please. And next time, don't fail. ;) Cheers.

  • @buraiallanstarforce "Trolling" is your excuse for others having their own opinions, if you are so against people having their own opinions, go become A freemason, and just using the internet does not make you A dweeb, alot of people have free time, and require stimulation, so go fuck yourself you fucking dweeb. And don't give me that pretentious bullshit smiley face and ";) Cheers" like you have got your head up your arse, get fucked.

  • @MathiesContego 'EEW, you like Rammstein'

So who doesn't respect whose opinions? Think about that for a moment. If you really respect another's opinion, you would keep such reactions to yourself.

Also, dweeb is a rather weak insult. It seems it's also the only insult you know. I'm sorry to say, but repeating 'dweeb' only makes you look even worse. Perhaps you need a thesaurus.

;) Cheers, mate. PS: Swearing doesn't help your cause at all. :P And thank you for giving me have some laughs.

  • @buraiallanstarforce I can hardly believe A dweeb like you even understands what this kind of poetic of music is about, maybe you should try playing World of Warcraft, I did once, it sucked donkey balls, I played as A Tauren, I suggest you play as A Troll seeing as you are so fond of them.

  • @MathiesContego Perhaps you should brush up on your English skills first? 'A' in the middle of sentences aren't capitalized, and 'poetic of music' is just terrible. :(

Sorry mate, you're failing. Quite utterly, I should add.

  • @Hembane I do not give A fuck what faggots or Germans do, it does not effect me in any way whatsoever, I just think that it is fucking foul to fuck another man in the anus or shit on someone, that is just my opinion.

  • Public Enemy=Kings of Rap

  • This was my song in 1990. I GOT SO MUCH TROUBLE ON MY MIND.....When Griff left, that broke my heart.

  • The kings of political hip hop back from the days when rap music had a real message. Long live the Bomb Squad.

  • ....and let the good get even.

  • Found this whilst revisin for a speech on anti-semitism.... 'Crucifixion ain't no fiction'

  • every brother aint a brother cause a black man squeezed on Malcolm X the man

  • @trizz54 A black hand squeezed on Malcom X then ran. I think that was what it said, the lyrics used to be on the inner sleeve of the vinyl.

  • I used to think rap was crap. How it was just a bunch of gangsta crap, disrespecting women, getting high etc etc. Public Enemy changed my mind about rap music. The issues they rap about are real, political and civil rights issues etc. That's something I can really listen to and relate to and respect. I just bought my first rap record this week and it was a Public Enemy CD. PE made me realize there are rappers out there with something important and legitimate to say!
