  • amazing job trumpets i hve 1st trumpet on this and im in 7th grade!!!! i have 1 more week to get it down wish me luck

  • I wish my bari had a low A....nice bari hehehe

  • Sounds great. The only thing is, it looks like the jazz band is going to a funeral. Why must it all be black?

  • thats really fast

im playing 2nd trumpet in our band and im trying to make the solo section be a jingle bells and frosty the snowman medley.

dont know if it'll work yet.

  • THE MOST FUN CHRISTMAS ARRANGEMENT EVER!!!

i played this in high school the transitions are so fun i loved the lead trombone part it was great. especially that little tag at the end. great job!

  • Who wrote that arrangement?

  • im pretty sure thats way too fast haha

  • this amazing

  • lol, we go alot higher than that when we play that at 0:50 good job though.

  • my jazz band plays that ending bell solo as a bass trombone solo, pretty sweet considering i play it

  • dude. sweet. 1st trumpet rocks!!! high d good! and almost octaved it. sweet. all trumpets were good :)

  • the guitar for this song is very difficult the way my teacher wrote it out for me, often having 4 different chords per measure, i'm playing it at my jazz band concert tonight

  • im playing this for intermidiate band next week

  • Im playing this for a concert tomorrow (:

  • nice

our band is gonna play this song this year

  • awesome. we're playing this for our christmas concert. i just love jazz bands. :)

  • Awesome. xD Our jazz band would never be able to handle it that fast.

  • awesome lead trumpet!

  • who is this by? arranged by, i mean. obviously. lol

  • our band played this for our xmas concert...you guys do have a solid top trumpet player. the tempo kind of takes off, but i like it

  • I have been looking for this song in this arrangement. Anyone know where to find it

  • Nice job. We did this my junior or senior year. I had 1st trumpet and it's my second-favorite song I've played in a jazz band (just under In the Mood). Gotta love that big bad ending... Yeah, good job.

  • well it sounds good...you have a good band, but i think you're playing it a little to fast...you can tell by the trumpet players..they have the notes, but they're struggling to keep up.

  • What are the drums doing?

  • I play trumpet and I played the 2nd part of this song. Its alot of fun! You have a nice lead player. hes got alot of power. oh by the way are you playing on a xeno trumpet? check out my high school band. put in La sierra High school. Hunk O junk funk.

  • our band is trying to play this lol

i play piano, but i can't seem to keep up. i can't tell which part we're up to on the sheet music

  • You guys rock! This is one of the best bands I have ever heard. Keep up the good work!

  • I played first trumpet on that song my junior year (2 years ago) of high school, and it was amazing. My favorite song we ever played in Stage Band.

Your band did very well, probably better than mine lol. The ending is still my favorite part.

Was this song shortened in any way? It seemed longer when we played it. And the trumpet solo in the beginning in yours was a lot slower than ours, but still good.

  • Exelent trumpet and drum section. The drums kept me going while the trumpets did a nice jazz section. More lower trupets though you want to hear the different jazz chords. I also agree with golfguy0111 you guys need to listen for intonation, but for a high school jazz band that was really good.

  • cool my school PHS is playing that im a trumpet player to

  • Our band played this same score.

Being a trumpet player, I do give major credit to the horn section for holding it together above the staff. I was responsible for playing the swing solo, and it took me 3 years of annual practicing to nail it once in concert as written. It's all about the entrance.

Oh, and 1st, man up and play the ending right! ;)

  • nicee

  • GO IRVIN!!

  • YOU GUYS ROCK!! I miss DMHS Jazz so much. Great job. Keep up the superior work!

  • A good High School band but if I may make a suggestion:

Listen to yourselves and check your intonation and timing. I think you spent a lot of time rehearsing but you need to tighten up your sound. Someone in the trumpet section has some good chops!!
