@Kegenooni, Given the fact that I'm 41 and that I got into house in 86 when it was mainly Chicago house and various Jack Trax yes mate, I know all too well about the birth of acid house, pre 1988 second summer of love. I'd say the best years ended in 1991, a few good tunes out around then still though but for clubs it was getting busy with bandwagon jumpers and idiots mate.
