  • I have found every time I send an email blast to my friends/clients with a simple tidbit of advice or 'hey look, here's something helpful possibly' I get at least 2 or 3 jobs out of the exchange. I do it in a non intrusive way, not bombarding them. The rest is purely word of mouth for me. I do this maybe once per month at present.

  • That persistent (yet respectful) approach is a great one! It's important to remind potential clients that you're "there," and if you can do it so in a helpful fashion, all the better!

    If you have a moment to, might you consider sharing the videos with friends? I'm pretty new to this, so it's awfully nice to get some folks watching these. :-)

  • They're very helpful, I found you thru someone that spread the word and I in return am spreading the word. Only thing you need to do is keep doing what your doing as your slowly building a following, minions that will in some way spread the word. Its nice to have someone I can tell my clients 'watch this video' and they get a quick synopsis from someone else of what I am guiding them towards. The other big part of this of course is keep on putting a great description of each video for SEO hits.

    In fact, that's the way I'm hoping to lead folks to the book. It's sort of a marketing "experiment"--try to put out useful information, remain consistent, and see if it sticks (and spreads).
