Jagjit Singh was such a great singer. Love this ghazal. I was born in Saudi Arabia and came to Canada at age 8. I am originally from Bangladesh. Whenever I listen to this ghazal... I think about South Asia... India before the partition. When India was one... without any divisions. I wish British never ruled India. They divided us. Pakistan, India and Bangladesh are all equally beautiful.
