When I first read Dark Tower i thought that they already made a movie of it a while ago, which I I got mixed up with The NeverEnding Story, cause I just remembered a giant Turtle and a big tower (though not dark). I Feel like a movie would need to feel like it was made in the 80s.

@cherrymaryx But really, as bad as most films based on anything are, I can see how they will totally frak the story of the Tower. I could get behind an animated film, but the books inspire so much in our own minds, I can't really see anyone playing the characters properly.
