  • Once flew a Greens of Burnley 20 foot delta. If the wind gets up these large deltas can pull like trains. Not for the faint hearted.I tend to fly Dan Leigh deltas in light winds or thermals more now.

  • Went to MCCC. Now in Colo.

  • What website you buy that off very nice video too

  • i got one too and its a fish kite =D

  • Very Nice

  • Had mine up in the air Jan. 31st.

    What a BLAST !!

  • Now that's not fair. I'm on the East coast where its cold. Plenty of wind though so no excuses here. :) Hope you put up some video soon. I intend to anchor mine off this year and fly some stunt kites and hopefully get video for fun. Never get board of this stuff. :)

  • @djmikeman43

    You live in singapore?

  • No i'm in the US

  • Anchor it to the ground- flying something that big by hand is exhausting at the least. Much worse with tails and stuff. Then when you bring it down, you put a carabiner or loop a nylon strap over the line and walk the kite down easily- and you have much better control over it while you do (and it's hard winding line on that kite in a good wind!)

  • Thanks. Good advice for the lazy days and when I feel like a workout I'll stick to the cranking it in. I just purchased a camera with wide angle lens and tripod. Maybe this spring i'll put up a better vid.

  • Great video and perfect music....

Ordered one from Kite and Wind in Arizona, they also include 300 ft. of 500# line. Can't wait to get it up in the air !!

  • Thanks. I had no one to hold the cam so the video capability was limited but worked out good for maiden flight. I just wanted to see how the kite reacted by itself. I later added 20 foot tube tails to each wing. It was very steady in the sky. Beautiful to see.

  • Got it this afternoon, I'll be using 20 ft. purple ribbon streamers on the wing tips, and a 48 ft. blue transition tail in the middle.

  • Good luck with it. You may want to be careful in higher wind. I have a large wooden winder w/handles and still had trouble bringing it down when it was up about 300 ft. I have 500 ft. of line. Lots of pull but had a blast. :)

  • Sunny and warm out here on the west coast,

but NO WIND, maybe this weekend...

I use yo-yo winders for my larger kites,

and gloves are a must with this big boy....

  • super

  • did you make or buy this kite?

  • I bought it from "into the wind" in Colorado.
