  • ¡¡¡¡Quesadilla!!!!!

We Mexicans says in a even more coloquial way "Queca" [Ke-ka]

  • This is Conan O'Brian's favorite restaurant.

  • It's seafood's fried rice, I guess. By the way, I have drunk such a tea at the another restaurant before, but I felt that those were all too weak for me. (゚c_゚`;)

  • Delivery pizzas such as the Pizza Hut are expensive in Japan, but family restaurant chain's pizzas are far cheaper than deliverly pizza's. It is reasonable you go to a family restaurant chain when want to eat pizza.

  • Looks great as always : )

  • 2:32 Quesadilla (Kess-ah-deea). Does Japan have a lot of family owned/private restaurants. Do they have any corporate/chain restaurants?

  • @killersushi88 I know they've got McDonalds and stuff, but it's different from our McDonalds. Different sizes.

  • i love sea food and this is like a dream to me... i need to eat that now >_> gimme gimme

  • This looks so good!

  • LOVE the way you say "heeyyy guyz" at the start of each vid!

and thanks SO MUCH for what you do :) i've leaned so much from your vids!

  • This sure looks yummy! :D

  • If I were eating lunch with you guys-my boring pizza would be sitting right next to yours.

I could eat fish in an emergency situation,perhaps...

  • Thank you for the good food video.

  • quesadilla=Kay-sa-dee-ah

    :)

  • Have you been to Pepper Lunch yet? I think that'd be an awesome video

  • Yes, these videos do make me hungry. Job well done!

  • This video make great hiragana and katakana reading practice.

I just wish I knew more kanji.

  • quesalla . . haha. x) . . those are great with some hot sauce and carne asada :)

  • eats the monitor

  • Welcome back, dude ! :)

  • Glad to see your videos again!

  • made me hungry? no ive learned my lesson, had food with me while watching this! :), sadly its not japanese food so i have a craving for that, but im not hungry! :)

  • Quesadilla> kay-suh-deeyah, with accent on first syllable and lesser on the "dil ". Beautiful food, I am so jealous.

  • you've never had things on a cast iron plate? you really should head down to Pepper Lunch sometime for their "cowboy steaks". most of the cooking is done before you with drizzling sauce onto the plate and the sizzling cooks the beef~

  • i like the love for muscat grape juice in japan~ it's hardly ever found outside japan...

  • Aaaand he's back. :D

With a video from my fav playlist too - FOOD!

  • im from chile, i think you was trying to say " quesadilla "

    im glad your are back.

  • So strange to hear an English speaker who doesn't know "quesadillas". I'm not knocking it! It just shows me what I take for granted & tend to accept as a given. It's an eyeopener, and it's making me aware of what I know. Yet, so painfully aware of how much more I DON'T know. Hence, why I watch every single vid on your channel. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences.

  • Changing foods with the seasons... oy vey

Yeah, you made us hungry again! WB.

  • Kay-sah-dee-yah (quesadilla). Beautiful cheese and other bits in a tortilla. Heaven.

    666 videos...surely a sign...you've made a lot of videos :)

I prefer your tastey morsels than the land of RPG contention. Yes, I am no hungry - but for the real deal not the American simulation.

    Glad you're back. Cheers

  • @nanasandin hey im from TIJUANA aahaha arriba el norte xD

  • Did anybody else notice that all the cars in the front, reverse-parked--for easy leaving? ... ALL of them? > >

Might be a silly question but... I wonder if they have common parking habits. Like--When I'm parking-space-hunting while at school, If someone else saw the same car that you did about to get out... whoever manages to put their signal light FIRST wins the parking-space. ...Do they do this in Japan? xD Lmao.

  • what kind of rice was your friend eating?

  • For crying out loud! Please add another video to your site before someone sends an exorsist to your web server.

  • I bet his friend in this video was Doctor D from Detroit ; )

  • 666 It's the numbEEEEEER of the BEAST!

  • Another awesome vid! :)

    Thumbs up~

  • Eating breakfast while watching this....

    I need another muffin...

  • Is there a vid about "tipping" in Japan? Like, percentage, when and where it is appropriate?

  • @sitro74 Yes! It's in the "How-to" playlist. I don't recall exactly which one it's called but it's there.

And it's super simple too! (Which is wonderful if your like me and bad at math).

  • @sitro74 you dont need to pay tips anywhere in japan.

  • @sitro74 Yes, there is a video on that. There's actually no tipping in Japan. People may take it as an insult and may chase you down to give you back your change.

  • @sitro74 No tipping in Japan. The workers get enough salary from employers. Japan has never had tipping custom in history.

  • I wish you woulda shown how to make the tea.

  • 666 videos

  • Kay - sa - dee - ya

  • yum

  • Do you have any more interview video comming

  • Welcome back!

  • @janalala, so what? It's just a number.

  • I wonder do you ever get acid-indigestion from eating spicy food late at night? Do the Japanese have remedies for upset stomach or acid stomach?

  • its pronounced "kes- uh- diya".

  • Thank you for the video.

  • You have to do a video on the new "poop burgers" developed in Japan (not making this up).

  • @TheAle89515 that was a hoax

  • Well I do speak Spanish, and they're called Quesadillas :D They are super yummy! Keh-sah-dee-yahs.

  • finally another video.this is pleasing

  • Cruel, cruel man -- what with the hungry-makings and all.

  • When I go to new paces I normally pick the maddest thing on the menu.

  • You can see the rice plate sizzle when he put in the soup. Very nice.

  • 666 videos lol niiice!!

  • Awesome!

  • Also, I like how your friend doesn't just dump his seafood soup all over his rice like we Westerners would, haha.

  • quesadilla - I'm no expert on what a Spanish would say, but Kay-sa-dee-ya (wherer kay rhymes with May) is how it's known to be said in most of America

Thanks for the video, I'm actually eating homemade tikki masala (yes, an Indian dish) But it's homemade, that's the point not as processed as other options

    Thanks again!

  • Cool video, thanks!

  • red and blue but in summer most of the reds change to blues.. from what i've noticed anyway

  • Your evil! You made my mouth water over foods I know I won't be able to get in the next few days.

  • So that yellow stuff is just rice? Why is it yellow?

  • @Degenskonto

paella rice is also yellow.rice doesn´t always have to be whitetish.there´s also black rice, you know

  • @RapiDEraZeR Hmmm did not know that. Black rice sounds kinda weird

  • @LogiForce86 - It's my understanding that the seasonal changes in menu is much more distinct in Japan. Here in America we have asparagus, strawberries and tomatoes year round since there are so many regions that can grow them effectively year round

  • Hello TheJapanChannelDcom

Was wondering if you have tried eating Fugu?

    Regards

  • I thought different dishes per season was normal everywhere?! You know, since each type of food has its own time in the season they are ready to be harvested. Like you have a time that the asparagus are ready and strawberries and tomatoes and so on. Besides, sun riped food tastes much better then anything from a greenhouse.

  • Hey, I just got back from a two week stay in Yokohama Japan. Just wanted to say thanks for all your videos. They helped out a ton!

  • Hey, I just got back from a two week stay in Yokohama Japan. Just wanted to say thanks for all your videos. They helped out a ton!

  • Why am I not in Japan already? I mean, seriously?!? Even a beverage bar in their fast food restaurant fascinates me. The rice dish looks delicious, too.

I wish I could find nice green tea where I live. I hate the weird smell of the ones that come in leaves or teabags. It's very hard to find the Japanese granule type.

  • how much more stuff can you make videos on XD

  • i would really like japanese tea... but all i get is tea from thailand

  • Kay-sah-dee-ya ^-^(I dont even speak spanish lol) anyways everything looked very tasty ^^ thanku for sharing this with us ^-^

  • Kay-sah-dee-ya

  • that pizza was the highlight for me omfg! atm that can be considered breakfast lol

  • pretty neat

  • @t3hpyr0x who cares how words are pronouced its not as if its misleading, i'm pretty sure the message can be understood though

  • @frozenless

YEAH PUNK!? WHAT IF I SAID I CARE!? Nah, just taking the piss. I'm not entirely sure where my comment went, since I can't see it right now, but I was more commenting on the fact that we Australians are really bad at pronouncing foreign words. I wasn't criticising anybody. Take it easy, brother.

  • Nice

  • aww that's evil! Now i'm starving!

  • When I go out to eat with Japanese friends in the US they perfer to go to a lot of different places with different menues. They like to explore new tastes.

  • it was a quesadilla say it like, kay-suh-dee-uhh

  • Pronounced "Kay-sah-dee-ahs"

  • @Uldemar Oops. I didn't see this before I commented.

  • @Uldemar here in Mexico we eat quesadillas and tacos all the time we love eating tortillas!!! ^_^

  • @Uldemar

Ah, you beat me to it.

  • @Uldemar looks more like pizza tho =d
