This song is amazing! Every church and Christian should know/sing this, pretty much gets away from all the distractions to what Christmas is really about. :)
Too bad Ryan had to leave the band. The band they had for hearts of the innocent had the most chemistry. I believe that their chemistry could be heard in their music.
(ran out of space again) ...instead of making music because they love to make music. the christian bands that are musically good are that way because they write music the way it's meant to be written. music is a very cathartic and personal experience, and bands like underOath succeed because they write about their personal experiences (which happen to be very faith-oriented), instead of making the fact that they're christian their defining attribute.
This song is amazing!! I love it. I can't get enough of it. There wouldn't be Christmas if Christ were never born. For those who don't like this song why did u search it? I just wonder cause if u don't like it don't search it. Don't make arguments with us who love it :) kutless is amazing. I love Christmas time. I listened to this song a bunch today lol. And my friend knows it bothers me when he pits "x-mas" instead of Christmas. Yet he does it and laughs at me when I get offended. I'm ending t
What an amazing song!!!!! Just as we need to continually be in the Word of God to renew our mind, this song is a great reminder of what Christmas is all about!
@Jacksoin0102 this is Christmas because of Christ... geeeeeezzz louise, as a christian you don't understand this basic concept? Who do you worship? Santa Clause?
@StrawberryAlarmCloc1 First off...I think I should clarify for both myself and jacksoin (he's my brother) that there is no confusion surrounding what the song is about or surrounding the concept of the song - neither of us are attacking the intended message, as we are both christians. my problem with this (and a majority of music - christian and non-christian music alike) is that musically, it is simply awful.
i hate that criticism (such as what my brother and i have laid out here) of a "christian" band has to be nothing but a criticism of "christianity". i dislike the fact that christian artists aren't held to the same MUSICAL standards that other artists would be judged by. some of my favorite bands are technically "christian", but i like them because they are genuinely talented at creating the art of music. i just feel like bands like this commercialize christianity, instead of incorporating it.
@dtlawn2000 It is satisfying to those of us who have a relationship with Christ. Sorry you don't like it. I also apologize on behalf of those who have expressed anger toward you. Maybe someday it will make sense to you on a personal level. In the meantime, be blessed!

Actually, I believe "X-Mass" started out as "cross - Mass", where the present "X" was hand drawn as an upright cross. As there is no 'cross' symbol in typing or type-setting; the "X" was substituted as a tilted cross. Just one story I heard long ago.
@GuitarKing287 actually the term x mas is short for christmas "X" comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός, translated as "Christ" so next time you say a comment like that do your homework.
@GuitarKing287 X-mas, the X, represent the CROSS(X), the CROSS Christ carried, to remind us He has paid for our sin, Christmas, is all about God given Christ to us, the best gift one could ever receive.. :)
@GuitarKing287 don't worry because even they they say "X-mas" there still going to say Christmas. Because the "X" at the Greek alphabet meant God or Christ. So either way God wins! He always wins...
@GuitarKing287 what you don't realize is that they use the X because X comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός, translated as "Christ".
Heard this on the radio today and I haven't been able to get it out of my head. When I looked it up I couldn't believe it was Kutless! They're such an amazing band

Amazing song. Christmas would be so empty without Christ.
all4jesus96 1 year ago 24
@all4jesus96 there is no Christmas without Christ.
there's a reason why it's call CHRISTmas.
that's why it bothers me so much when people say X-mas instead of Christmas.
it's literally crossing Christ out of Christmas.
so sad what this world is coming to.
