Sorry For My bad English! Hey, Verdegrand! My admiration to you is very, very big!, sometime i want to play like you!, i hear your videos about 3 o 4 moths ago!, From then i can't stop hearing you!.. This music remember me when i was a child!, Thank you very much!
And... Do you have sheets for Wipe Your Tears Away?
This digital age has ushered in a new era of not losing information. I'm glad the +s and -s of this music will last my entire life both in digital media, and my own childhood memories. Thank you for posting this, and wow does it sound good!
Absolutely amazing.. I still own all the SaGa / Final Fantasy Legend games. Hearing all my favorites on the piano.. I'm left speechless. My absolute favorite is the Epilogue. I can replay it over and over again.. a wonderful compilation of previous themes.
@SilverFinale Hello, thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate them a lot! I was surprised myself how well those themes would work on the piano, it's as if they were written for it to begin with. Making these arrangements was very pleasant in that regard. Oh and I love the rest of the OST as well, World of Sky is a very dramatic and foreboding piece. If i ever can, I'll play more SaGa music in the future :) Thanks for watching, greetings
love it. absolutely love it. Any chance of you doing this to the other FFL games? Would also love to hear Dion's and Talon's themes from FFL3 on the piano.
@callmesora Hello, thank you for your kind comment. And I have indeed thought about doing a similar video about the other FFL games. Now would be the best time with the DS rereleases and all, wouldn't it? Unfortunately I can't do that at the moment, but you can rest assured I am keeping this in mind. Also, you named my two favorite themes from FFL3 :) Many greetings
This is epic, both in performance and presentation. I first played this game when I was but 13, and as a Christian I was always rather disturbed by
*SPOILER ALERT*
the overarching philosophy in this game (such as when my 666-HP namesake Tiamat helped my male mutant (whom I had whimsically named "MAN") in a fight with the 'Creator'....)
I remember reading somewhere that Nobuo Uematsu said he had to rush the music for this game and really disliked what he made. I still like the music in this game for the most part...I made a little remix/medley for Dwelling of Duels, it uses stuff from all three Game Boy games called "Legend of the Glass Sword"...it's out there if you search for it.
@kamakirifujin Hello, thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it. I've seen your videos before and your SaGa videos were definitely an inspiration for me as well, so thank you too :) Let's make more videos of SaGa music in the future :D
well done man this is exactly what ive been looking for. this game is so unknown but its awesome and so is the music. nice job, it would be cool if u played the song from the village in the begining too. it was kind of a sad lullaby sounding song.
@commanderkool Hello, thank you, and I agree, this game is very unknown and should get a lot more appreciation. The village theme is beautiful as well, I didn't include it into this medley because I was running out of time -.- But check out kamakirifujin, he made a video of that theme (the title of his video is 'street theme'). I might play more FFL in the future so perhaps I'll play that theme too :)
Very nice Verdegrand. I've never played Final Fantasy Legend, but there are many awesome melodies in this that you played very well. Also I liked the creativity you put into this upload, and you ask some very interesting and meaningful questions.
@VirtualHarmonies Hello, thank you, I appreciate it very much. Just a quick note, these are not supposed to be my own personal questions as such, but rather my paraphrase of what I think the game asks the player :) Nevertheless, I also deem these questions important and it's really astounding a video game of its age would dare to ask them.
@bypass12345 Hello, I love the soundtrack for the second and the third FFL games so there is a good chance I might play something out of those in the future :) I can't tell you when, though. Could take a long time.
@jonnyboy383 Hello, yeah SaGa is indeed underrated, especially the music. About sheets, I played this by ear so there are no sheets, sorry about that :/
"This child looks dead" haha. Another great performance from you. What amazes me the most is how quickly you must learn new things. Did you basically just improvise this a few times and then recorded it? It would take quite some time for me to compile something like this!
Ah, I remember this game! My bro played it all the time in the car. I remember the look of the game cartridge! Gray cartridge, white sticker with purple square in the middle, AND A SWORD! Yeah! :)
This is great, I've only ever heard one song from the FFL series (FFL2 Boss Battle) so this was certainly englightening, I need to look the OST up and see what I'm missing.
amazing!!
とても美しい演奏、ありがとう(^_^)

this was one of the first FF games that i ever played - i'm amazed at how much i have fogotten about it!!!
parts of the music actually reminded me of uematsu's more recent work on the 'lost odyssey' OST!
