@CCRockit The music business is tough enough without having to compete with parents who were country music legends. It almost destroyed Hank Jr always falling short while being compared to his father from a young age. I think John Jr was wise in taking another career path that offers a better quality of lifestyle.

Threw away his talent? Just because someone is good at something, doesn't mean they're obligated to display it. Most people have more than one interest or hobby in life. They're allowed to do with it as they please.
