I just did a crossdressed walk around Phnom Penh. My gosh, how many girls stared and giggled at a foreigner in loose capri sweatpants and shaved legs (I shave my entire body). I also wore a long nike female t-shirt to cover the junk and it was all fine. And the best thing is shopping. At the central market everyone wants to sell you something and it doesn't matters what gender you are. No discrimination. And king Sihanouk supports gay marriage, so Phnom Penh becomes the new San Francisco :D

!) Buy contact lenses. Makes makeup easier.
2) Top and skirt attracts less attention than a full dress. Top and skirt blending-in is easier if you, as me, like to be taken for a "real girl". If not, you're ok.
3) Get a shorter wig. A feminine wig requires a very feminine attitude, a shorter wig is easier for transpersons.

That fire alarm is not half as bad as what heppened to me,. I was all dolled up and waiting for someone and the police showed up telling me that I should move on and unfortnatley they asked me for ID. I sure had them fooled from the beginning when they called me Ma am but I did my best to keep a straight face and think I dont give a fuck what they thought of me.
My first I stood by the hotel door for 45 minutes before I open it. And then freedom. My life hasen't been the same since then. Congrats Dana. Practice, practice, practice.

I understand eating less, though in my case it's less about fitting into something and more about having fewer distractions and less likelihood of having to use a bathroom.

LOL I laughed till i cried when the alarm went off.... When I got started going out in dress I was working at a gay club as a drag performer in 95 and on the way home I was pulled over by the cops. I was freaking out, he asked for my license and I was like in my best deep voice PLZ officer don't make me get out of the car this Frat prank is embarrassing enough now i have to go buy 23 fire ball and 10 Zebra cakes at the corner store, he laughed and sent me on my way.
it is ok you need to not run in out of theroom that looks strange and could draw attention if you are going to out dressed up bring a guy with who knows you are dressed it looks more natural or bring your wife if she knows you dress but bring some one with until you feel more confident to go out alone and omg that fire alarm thing sucked was probably very scarry but rest ashored you are not the only one with that kinda luck looking forward to seeing more of your adventures
@DanaM71 hope this finds you well, Just watched your 1'st time out hotel vid. Couple things. Your $2 Coke was a Pepsi. Maybe why it tasted bad. Had I passed you in the hall I'd have thought "loud dress" not sure I'd have noticed you were a guy. Also most hotels have security cams in the halls and elevator lobbies. BUSTED! I tried something similar but used a stairwell and got caught in it. Went down 6 floors in 5" pumps to lobby elevator and up. 3AM luck me. No one saw. I hoped.

It is a little hard for me to remember what it was like the first time but it was a thrill. Once I went to the Citedell shopping center I watched a couple sitting at a table when the gut saw something told his girl and she turned around and looked in my direction and they both took notice but it was not me cause as I checked the reflection it the store windows they were looking at where I was and not where I am. But that got my adrenilin going. One other thing is you got the voice to pull it off
I think you were very passsable and should have mede the move and went a little further. However just stepping out of the room was a big step, and I'm sure having the fire alarm go off had your heart beating out of your chest. One trick is to put a room key in your car then go get it. Its exiting when you hear the door click shut and know you have to walk to the car and get the other key! Just don't forget your car key. keep us posted

Loved your video ... been there, done that ... brought back a lot of memories also. Here's the thing ... most worries are for not ... people are really nice. I've had very few problems in 20 years of going out.
I've learned that when it comes to people, the harder the person is on the outside, the softer they are on the inside. So in a biker bar I would likely find more sympathizers than in a "normal" bar. But it isn't my "thing" to put myself into dangerous situations...so...no thanks. Posting vids on the net is enough excitement!!

Are you familiar with the concept of a straight cross dresser? There is actually a pretty large chunk of the population that falls into this category. Look it up. Not sure what you mean by "better" either (what, exactly, do you recommend?). Thanks for watching, though.
Straight or not, the wig is bad. I recommend you watch other cross dressers. you need a wig that doesn't look all lose on your head. if you're into curly hair then i suggest you get a mom, wig. Play with wigs until you get the right feel for your bone structure. I am not a crossdresser not at all lol. but i watch alot of corss dressers and I kind of "know how" on this subject. Hi Dana, I think you worry too much about what other people are thinking. The man in the elevator who saw may not have seen a man in a dress but he may have seen you as a woman. You have now been outside as a woman and it looks like you did enjoy it. Carry on being Dana and do not let go away. When I was younger, and slimmer, I would go out in my femmine persona. If you are worried, do you have a friend who could go out with you? My male persona would be proud to take you on a date. Love Joanne

To be super honest, its ok, its ok. Don't worry. what? Did you just ssay you're married? to a woman? omg lol. anyway like i said, its ok still. I have to be completely honest. You need a better dress and better make up and a wig that doesnt look like a joke, seriouly it looks like you're wearing a a novelty mullet.

Are you familiar with the concept of a straight cross dresser? There is actually a pretty large chunk of the population that falls into this category. Look it up. Not sure what you mean by "better" either (what, exactly, do you recommend?). Thanks for watching, though.

Straight or not, the wig is bad. I recommend you watch other cross dressers. you need a wig that doesn't look all lose on your head. if you're into curly hair then i suggest you get a mom, wig. Play with wigs until you get the right feel for your bone structure. I am not a crossdresser not at all lol. but i watch alot of corss dressers and I kind of "know how" on this subject. Anyway, watch Sharolaid, Shaniqua, Rupaul, ect. Fluffy Blubber cut, Lexi here on youtube

Hey, thanks. I do need to do some shopping, I know. I have some thoughts on different wigs--I think I'll go with short and spiky hair next time, once I get the time, money, and courage to go shopping! There is no end, really, to the amount of time and energy (and money) you can invest in this sort of thing. But I am getting better and better every day. Thankfully you never saw my earlier stuff!
