  • man sha ley me told you dat man spoke all to clear yea myself i understood him yea n he neva talke no itailin yall sld learn abt the ppl who paved the way fa en villie

  • I'm from Eunice, and we spell Opelousas, like this

  • I'm from southwestern Louisiana and he is talking a little fast --maybe he's a little excited about giving the tour. In general movies always get this accent wrong. Listen for the "and all that (dat)" and "and everything (everyting)". Basically the guys talking about his career and the tour maybe coming to an end and how he can't believe it.

  • You like to see homos naked?

  • Im cajun and what he said makes PERFECT sense! Lol

  • lol!

  • I understood it all....

    Haha

  • We were the first French settlers in North America. We settled in Nova Scotia, then came down to South Louisiana.

  • We didn't just come down voluntarily. We were exiled from Nova Scotia (Acadie at the time) by the English who won the land from the French in a war. Then We were loaded into slave ships, separated from family and brought to an unfamiliar land with nothing! But yes we were the first French in North America.

  • that's right ! I'm from opalousas.

  • Dude... what? it's like a weird irish, italian, boston accent. i can kinda make out what he is saying but it'll take me some time. lol if i was there i would have made him repeat himself about 8x before i was sure i got it right. i know, i know, damn yankie

  • Believe me this accent is unique to the South and many southerners have a hard time with it also. South/southwestern Louisiana is different by Southern standards.

  • I don't nothing wrong. I understood everything he said, but then again I'm from the South with Cajun relatives.

  • Man, that's confusing.

To me, he's switching from French, to English, then to Italian.

Reminds me of the lyrics "I hear words in clips and phrases."

  • haha...i went on this tour. It was great!! Run for your little lives nutria :-)

  • This is actually a nice example of the modern Cajun English accent. People from south Louisiana talk very fast and their vowels are clipped - there is no southern drawl in Cajun speech.

  • hmm well he does talk a bit fast ^^; and im from the south hehe (well more like middle-ish louisiana XD

  • what the fuck did he say

  • im a cajun .. he's talkin about storms and a bunch of random crap
