I think Serie A is is still good but has not got the same great players of the 80's and 90's.But I feel the fans are always still have passion for the clubs.Where as I feel that the Barclays Premier League has lost it's fan spriti it's all about money not the fans anymore or passion.As where I feel Serie A and Bundesliga have more of the fans supporting them same with La Liga alittle but mainly Real and Barca.But team like Sevilla and Valencia are making a comeback.

In Italy you can see a team 4th from behind give trouble to the leader! In the EPL the big 4 of Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool, are barely defeated in a season. Sorry, a mistake, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Manchester City now. In Spain it's been a 2 horse race for the past 10 years! In Italy you see Sampdoria, Genoa, Fiorentina, Palermo and sometimes Parma, Chievo and others beat the top teams and even go in the CL sometimes! Serie A is AT LEAST on par with the other leagues!

Italian football isnt dead but its along way off what it used to be, in the 80s and 90s it was the best league in the world, now it's simply miles behind the EPL and La Liga, the german league will soon be a better league than serie a if it isnt already.
