So if you run out of address space switch banks and you get access to a different set of data. It's hard to explain, read the article!

This looks awesome, and not just because it's rare, I mean this really looks more technically impressive and interesting than a lot of games released. It's crazy that a game so far in development [i.e finished!] never got released. Especially when it got hyped up by magazines and such, to not even get picked up by another publisher is just mind blowing! That would never happen today, gone are the days of hidden gems I guess, or maybe they are just hidden better. :P

Looks like it would've been a nice Shadow of the Beast clone...fun game that was. I liked the engarish. And the soundtrack isn't too bad ethier. Nice mix of side-scroll platforming, exploration and beat-em up elements. 8/10 from me!

This is barely a game. It looks like this is more of a tech demo. It really seems they focused on a couple things: incredibly smooth scrolling, and amazing animations. Enemy placement? bah! Tight controls? Bah! Level design? Double bah! I realize that this is a proto, and if I had to guess, I would bet that this was thrown together to shop around for funding. But at this point, the SNES was released, so Bio Force Ape's main selling points were moot. I'm betting that's why this got cancelled.
