You know, the only thing I know about Vonda is Ally MacBeal, but this version of this worthless song really nails it. The harmonies are priceless and the end of each stanza mirrors "Sugar Sugar" perfectly. After hearing the BJ Thomas, Blue Swede and Hasselhoff versions I thought this song wasn't worth the breath needed to sing it. Vonda shows it can be sung.

Wow. Great to hear it sung by a woman. I love the BJ Thomas version, and I really like this version. But I HATE what those other bands did to the song....corrupting it with the ape-like chants...IMHO those versions are absolute rubbish. But Vonda sings it well, almost as well as BJ Thomas.
