  • One thing they should have done is computer generated more people, so that it looks as if the two armies look like they are two oceans. According to the scriptures, there were endless amount of people on both sides of the army.

  • u bastard,,u really dont know about INDIA,,ur only sex lovers like animals...

  • I'm sure I'll love to read "Mahabharata" and "Ramayana" as much as I do reading the ancient Greek myths and the Arabian Nights. But watching them in Indian made serial will be like killing the whole merit of their greatness.

No matter how great the original story is, be it a folklore or a book, once Bollywood takes its brainless look at it, it turns out pure garbage.

    Brainless Blink Blink!

  • krishna role is great

  • on paper the kauravas seem a better side

  • It is Bhagavadgita ! the most concise Capsule of wisdom every where in teh world ! Blesees are you BR Chopra to bring this epic to the reach of every ccommon person in such perfect way ! - Namaste !

  • rishton ko khatm karna aasan hai lekin uneh nibhana bahut kathin. rishton naton ko phir samaaj ki jimmedariyon ko nibhana hi kshatriyta honi chahiye khoon kharaba karna kabhi bhi kshatriyta nahi ho sakta never.

  • @wwinds

Why can't 1.3 billion Indians take this concise capsule of wisdom every 4 hrs a day and lead the world? History tells otherwise though. India has been a slave nation, a very dark, complex and a dysfunctional society throughout its entire history. And this is true even today!

  • wonderful epic. thanks for uploading

  • This is such a superb video. How many times people have to go through such dilemma's? How many times have we lost someone and gone through misery? Thank you god for giving us such your wisdom and telling us instructions on how to deal with our everyday issues. Practice the wisdoms and our life will be so peaceful. This is what humanity wants. • babamaal, although i dont want to start an argument session with u, i beleive u should not use what happened to jesus here, cos it gives out message that if god comes elsewhere apart from india people would kill him? and another thing is how can people kill god before god has delviered a message? the bible is not what god said, it is what mark, matthew, luke and his followers said, i dont believe us humans have the capacity to kill god, sorry about that, he cant be scared of our weapons? surely

  • well according to ramayana and mahabharat, the lord has already come to the earth to show the right path, but i dont understand why he only came to india and guided the indians only, he should have guided the whole of humanity, but thats only my view.. may be iam wrong....

  • @iamrizwan ,friend, though whole universe is home of god but why he prefer to come to India only? coz India has given birth to many holy saint and this land has become so pure that is why God always prefer to come to this holy land only. you know what happened when God in form of Jesus decided to come to western land and in result withing 3 years he was betrayed and killed by his own peoples.....would ancient indian do this? but entire humanity get the taste of it no worry God is much smarter.

  • Comment removed

  • @iamrizwan

Dear friend, cos god prefer to come on holy land.and india is the land of sacrifice, dharma, diciple, duty(kartavya) and many more.so they come on india's land.and also near about holiest rivier like ganga, yamuna, sarswati, saryu.all the mahapurus(god),saints born near the great river.so all the great stories belogs to up.although i belongs to mp.but i found this conclusion.

  • Comment removed

  • @iamrizwan my friend, its not like u r thinking, in the ancient times there were not so many separate countries following different religions like today. there were few but very large countries which covered whole earth. so its not like god came to guide only indians.at that time the msg used to become universal for every one.i.e. shakuni was king of today's afghanistan, karn was king of today's bangladesh not exact area like today though.

  • this is very big help to those people hu realy need guidance and who dont know what to do?

  • what a wondereful episod

  • duryodhan is lkn complete demon today

  • @9711ALI you do not understand the mentality of duryodhana.....it is complex....suryodhana in a way represents todays human beings who are selfish.

    NO offense meant

  • Bheeshma had shown humility in one of the episodes. When Krishna was gonna kill him (during battle) he gave him the permission since Krishna was like, the Lord himself. Bheesma was wise and realised that, so he claimed he would be fortunate IF he was killed by Krishna (but that never happened). Plus, Bheesma had the boon of summoning his own death, till then he was Immortal so he is really humble, wise and was a strong warrior.

  • @shoho0809 Boon does not mean that a person is invincible to Lord himself. Lord respects the giver of the boon and out of that respect he fulfills the boons. Lord Krishna could have easily killed Bheeshm if he really wanted.

Nevertheless,Grandsire was of course ever humble,a great warrior,a great human being and above all a great devotee of Lord Krishna.

  • thaks

  • thank you so much for uploading these videos!

  • when u,l know the ultimate truth tht god resides in u heaven is of just little significance

  • i see the bus too.

  • i see the bus too

  • i saw the bus too.

  • yes right i saw more than a bus parked.

  • There was a bus parked on ground at Kurukshetra at 24:26 clip (just below the left arm of Krishna), lol

  • @amitmalviya81 hahahaha .. br chopra got complacent

  • lol brilliant observation

  • @acidcrashguy Thank you...

  • @amitmalviya81

thank you SO MUCH for noticing!!

I was always hoping to find something like this (a plane or car etc) in this serial, but unsuccesfully... I always knew there HAD TO BE something wrong and YOU have found it.. whahaha thank you so much!! xD

  • Oh Krishna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the above respected viewers are no doubt hindus with modern thought.but the personalities are the persons who donot know how to respect themselves, how u can be an analyzer of such great humans and gods who have kept our hindu society united.these type divisional character analysis will create a difference in our society which our country needs most......its a request dont analyze gods atleast..respect and pray to them for ur betterment.

  • jai shri krishna

  • 17:53 Ye Kya "Prahelika" hai Acharya? LOL! Haha...

  • i can watch these all day.

  • What an ignorant division of Gods (they are one). But you didnt mention one thing, your concept of division is westren (British)...

  • @diliprai vishnus avtars were ram krishna buddah and others so how is vishnu a dravidian and krishna n ram are aryan if there the same person??

  • @lehal68 these avatars were created by the brahmin aryan to cover up any loopholes.

in RIgveda, there is no mentioned as Siva or Buddha. But in the later period, the Brahmins crafty devised a story and said that Rudra who is mentioned in RV is in fact a Siva. But then again Rudra was never seen as a chief lord. Only Indra, Agni, Varun, Soma is mentioned as chief gods of these Aryan.

Buddha was adopted as Hindu avatar to safeguard the Hinduism from becoming minorities.

  • @diliprai wow BUDDAH was a fuckin hindu prince u ignorant dumbass who teaches you things you have the iq of a monkey

  • @lehal68 buddha was a Hindu prince because the vedic aryan and brahmins claimed to be so.

But the fact was Buddha was born into Sakya tribe who did not conform with vedic culture and teachings. Sakya tribe still exist in Nepal and is consider from Proto-Australoid race.

  • @Jeremiah5063 : Yep.. I sometimes cant wait to get back home to watch these episodes!

  • @Jeremiah5063

Wow! You must be some brain-dead retard who has nothing good and productive to do in life other than staring on the screen.

  • @ffffacjh I love You!!!!!!!!!

  • @ffffacjh

Indians (The Bharatheeyas) will prove themselves dear brother ........... when the world really needs them. We are not the ones who will go around waging wars for fun or for riches. But we will certainly wage a war when there is a real need for establishing righteous means. Look at the way we have won independence ......... no country in the world has achieved this feat through Non-violence. And if we turn violent just imagine what could happen.

  • @solusindica89 you know Bhagat Singh?

  • @SINGHukSINGH

How would any patriot in India not be a devotee of the great Bhagath Singh - the young rebel of India who sacrificed his life for the sake of India's independence.

  • the thing i love about krishna is the ability to listen and respond with perfect thought and without 'reacting'. he never says anything without prior thought first. wish i can have some % of that ability.. the one line where arjun asks 'aap kuch kehthe kyo nahi' to which krishna responds 'abhi tho mein sun raha hoon paarth.'

  • I don't beleive in god but

As i remember this was the most powerful scene . Where Krisana explains life and death. STILL sends chills up my spine. If i had to relate to a religon it would be hinduism, after i'm Indian

  • I bow down to Lord Krishna...every single word of his explanation is not that difficult to understand, but it is so so difficult to implement in life...Sometimes I wonder who can answer questions in our mind ? God tells us from inside, but still, I feel, some questions remain unanswered...

  • Like to know those questions..........

  • I bow down to the Lord too!! His words are easy to understand, but He isn't. The vedas , the Puranas, and 1000 other slokas have all described Him, but no one can explain Him completely. He remains an enigma and attracts us in that way.

  • Are the pope-like dressed guys g'oauld

  • ...and that is?

  • This series is awesome!

  • Right into action!!!!!!!!!

    Great Video. :)

  • At 28.00, how greedy and adharmi is Dhritarashtra! Shame on him!

  • man i love this guy, duryodhan ! what acting man ! hats off

  • agree ..hats off Puneet Isaar ji !!!

  • I just want to say Thank you to Rajshiri to make this available online so that we can refere to in online.

    Thank you Rajshri Production.

  • @yourdeadin Indeed Long Live Rajshri !!!

  • can anyone tell me in whcihc episode dos krishna tell arjun that non of his relatives beling to him and all will be heppy after his death in 3-4 days..and he should fight with detachement

  • yes it is in this episode

  • arjuna was nothing without krishana, and there are so many arjunas now plz find ur krishana to guide you, plz dont let urself go after something minor.

  • Arjun had Krishana because he deserved his company not because he was a 'nothing' and Krishna decided to make him 'something'.If it is his war abilities that you are talking about, he had guidance only fr kurukshetra, rest all his wins were his own !! read the story befre coming with rash statements.

  • arjuna was avatar of nara, nara was the younger brother of narayana, krishna was avatar of narayana

  • @bawarajan1 I dont agree with you, Arjuna was a peerless warrior and had a heart of gold. Thats why he deserved the company of the Lord.

As regards to he being nothing, read or watch mahabharat from the beginning. He was the the one who singlehandedly defeated the greatest warriors of Kuru clan along with their armies in virat battle. There are many more such instances.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song they always sing at the end of every episode after summing it up?

I heard a swami sing it in a bhajan one day.

  • God is all compassionate for he create everyone. Duryodhan as well as the Arjun are his creations. He is there for anyone who abides to dharma. But that doesn't stop him from giving what is asked for from him. Duryodhan asked for Krishna's Army. He was given that. Similar to people who are after wealth, gold, materialism attain that. Arjun (Devotee) asked for Krishna just krishna and to be his charioteer and guide him all the way through the battle (Life on this world).

  • Krishna takes Arjun to the middle of the battlefield. He says fight. That is face the realities of the world with god (Krishna's) guidance. Don't shy away from the problems. Face it and win over it with the guidance of god and dharma(Good morals).

  • Comment removed

  • Can somebody tell me why did king drith say, "Now there will be no war. Because if Arjun does not wage a war, who else will wage the war from their side".... Can't Bheema and Yudhi fight with the help of Krishna. Why was Arjuna required at all. Pls throw some light if possible.

  • It is because arjun was great archer who had supernatural power of archery and only this archer had ability to defend the great archer of opposition army. Krishna will not fight in the war. Bheema and Yudhisthri does not have the ability to beat the great warrior of opposition like bhisma, dronaarya etc.

  • Arjuna was the strongest fighter from the Pandavas. He could single handedly fight each one of the Kauravas.

That was not the case with Bheema or Yudhistira.

  • There is no one that can face Bhishma or Dhrona from the other side. They would have easy taken the Pandavas down if not for Arjuna....that was the thought. Ofcourse reg. Krishna, it is His Maya that the Pandavas are worried even after knowing who He is! The fact is, if Arjun quits (will not happen, as He says in Gita), Krishna would even break His oath without any hesitation and slay the entire army (as He demonstrates later). His Maya is inscrutible indeed.

  • I might not be right here but what i think is it was Arjun who comes as a death of Bhishma and without him away from the war there was no ending . No one could kill him and as Arjun being the greatest bow and arrow user and all .. and each had their own part in the war ...and you have raised really a nice question here .. all i can say is It was meant to be the way thats why no one could finish the war except Arjun fighting i guess !

  • Honestly, it is a whim of BR Chopra and his team. I do not think that in the original Mahabharata, Dritharashtra says anything like that.

  • get the essence only.

  • what do you mean? What is the essence according to you?

  • Nothing specially... just wanted to say that essence is more important than nitty gritty of some parts of the movie. Sometimes just to develop a masala quotient/ drama quotient they try to bring in some unauthenticated ones ans it is not that bad. otherwise it will turn out to be documentary.

  • If you notice, this thread started with the question why Dritharashtra said what he said. It wasn't about essences as you mean.

Anyway, as they say - "The devil is in the detail". The essence is determined by the details, unless you are interested in only something superficial.

  • if you are asking about dhritarastra's starting line - dharma kshetra, kuru kshetra main ekatrit hue log... u can go back to reference given in standard bhagawad geeta. "Dharmakshetre kurukshetre samavetaa yuyutsavah; Maamakaah paandavaashchaiva kimakurvata sanjaya"

More over essence relates to overall subjective reasoning not in details.

  • Personally, I hate questioning someone's intelligence in a comments thread. But it seems I can't avoid it in this case.

You must be a moron for you do not even read the original comment in this thread before you butt in with your preachings. So, get that straight before you even think of thinking to post another comment on youtube. And also, it wasn't me who asked the question.

  • u better hate questioning others intelligence. it is you who took it personally for a comment which was made for general importance to you specific. you don't become intelligent by calling others moron. By the way, you made a mistake by taking it personal. Now take the shit back.

  • at 16:40 well said, and that's very true...

yudhishtir : "chinta na karo aanuj, arjun ka sarathi vasudev krishna hai..arjun ka rath bathak hi nahi sakta.."

    that's so true,

jabh kiski ka sarathi, narayan ho... shri krishna ho.. usko tension lene ki jaroori nahi hai...

  • ther's no video in this...

  • If you are talking about this fight in mahabharat, if this one didn't happened, it would have meant Dropadi was slut, what shakuni did was right and duryodhan's demands should have been fulfilled, and Bhisma, and everyone else who kept quiet while Dropadi was being insulted did the right thing. This fight was necessary to prove all these wrong or today we would worship shakuni and duryodhan.

  • @venushole2001 If that is what you understand & believe, go ahead & do so. Just let the other people have the freedom to believe what they understand. But do I see a contradiction in your words? You talk about "avoiding fight till last breath" & go ahead & talk in violent tone about what others say?

  • abey yaar so confusing... bhishm's dharam says stay with evil. krishna tells arjun that standing up against evil is dharam... why the 2 dharams? who cares about a promise if it hlps evil? how is that dharam?

  • Bhisma was wrong, he realized it in the end. He himself have said "no promises are bigger than country and Dharma" keep watching, u will come to that part.

  • @shiznite That is what free will is all about...for us to think, consider, & then act, and not base all actions on personal gains, losses, & agenda

  • TRUTH: The Bhagvad Gita echoes all the Vedic truths. Thanks to the wonderful teachings in the noble Gita, my parents, siblings & I are back to practicing our glorious ancestral Sanatana Dharma way of life.

    Jai Shri Krishna!
