Anyone who has anything to do with running Lakewood= automatic idiot. (not city WORKERS, but people who sit in an office and run their mouths). Why does LHS have a 42 inch LCD TV hanging on the wall as soon as you walk into the main doors of the new building? I have NEVER seen it on. Let's waste more money! Let's hire hall guards that sell and buy drugs from students! Let's hire teachers who rape girls after school! I hate this place so much yet I have lived here for my whole life. Go Flakewood!
looks like the guy is still driving the truck but he now doesn't have to get out of the cab to pick up a sack and chuck it in the compartment. Also looks like it takes the same amount of time to collect the bin as it does to collect the sack so no I wouldn't have though anyone would have lost their jobs here. The automated system has removed the need for manual handling making the task safer for the employee.
just a question i am a city employe that collects refuse i would like to know if the people that this truck replaced still stayed employed or if they lost there jobs because of the new way and if they stayed employed then wouldnt it allmost coat more money to buy this truck and pay them vs just paying them and leaving it the old way and giving them job security just a question thanx
