Im not even sure if there has ever been any user to get more than one video featured. Im not sure if u mean popular in worldly sense or just Youtube. But, I dont think ppl are flaunting their popularity after a feature. More like after that feature brings them 1000 subscribers, and that brings them to most viewed or most whatever and that brings them more subscribers and soon enough you've got 5000 subscribers, and you're fairly popular on Youtube.
