I've spent the first half of my life being a hockey fan and ametuer player cheering on and defending the "dead wings" and "dead things" of the 70's and early 80's.

Then the genius Jimmy D. drafted Stevie Y. and built a solid team around him.

Only to be defeated in the playoffs year after year by the mighty oilers of the late 80's.

After breaking a 42 yr. drought and winning 4Cups in 11 years, I'm not apologizing for being excited about Hossa and this season.
