If i chose to skip classes and not do my hw or study, i could fail and live as a bum. So yes in a way we are given choices to better control our life. The commandment "Thou shalt not kill" is really not as general as the King James version would indicate. The commandment actually refers to premeditated, unjustified killing - murder. Although God ordered the extermination of entire cities, He did so in righteous judgment on a people whose corruption had led to extreme wickedness, including child sacrifice. Plus, Stalin was quite insane. These people, who declare events were the wrath of a deity, were influenced by their religion. Criticising religion in these instances is valid; criticising atheism is not.
What's more: Communism in practice was dogmatic - like a religion. Proof that dogma is poison.

@rawextreme101 Sure when i was a child i was in awe at the world because i had no idea of how things worked in the world i was in awe at how big the world was, how bright the stars were but as i got older i gained knowledge that our world compared to the universe wasn't actually all that big, the stars lights traveled light yrs thru space to reach us, science merely opened up a larger world to me (called knowledge). @rawextreme101 My bad habits includes too much late nighters (usually gaming or watching tv shows) i really don't have an impulse that i have to do or else i will explode... Im telling the truth, i don't smoke, drink or do any sort of drugs, i enjoy running on my treadmill and as for pulling late nighters, that was influenced by when i was younger, my parents didn't really care back then so now i have a habit of staying up all night even tho i have a test tmr xD so yea thats where that came from

@rawextreme101 another facepalm sure a girl who was raped never want to have sex again but there are some who become addicted to it, just another state of mind. Our brain is so complicated that just because we don't understand someone, it does not mean we can just throw the "god" label around and say that god is the cause. We have to figure it out for ourselves, you can pray all you want to your god but in the end we still have to search for the answers ourselves, that's wat science is all about

@rawextreme101 yes in a way i do, if i go to classes every day i'll end up with a better mark which may result in a better job, better pay and a better life for me in the future. If i chose to skip classes and not do my hw or study, i could fail and live as a bum. So yes in a way we are given choices to better control our life. And if your talking about life spans then i could choose to exercise every morning and eat healthily to better my odds at living a longer life.
