  • @mikeblooms4me Well Mike we are glad to hear that. Yes, music does have power. It was one of the things that has helped me recover from my accident, the Lord is the main reason though. Thanks for the comment and thanks for listening.

  • ok.. Guys you're very good! There a lot of talent here! Very nice job ;)

  • Damn......... way better than I expected. My suggestions for improvment are that you should get it recorded in a studio, because it sounds dandy already. Good singer, good banjo good all around keep it up

  • Great sound! I love the sound of the base and the singing. Two things missing from my brothers foggy mountain breakdown video.

  • 5 stars.

  • Canada here...not exactly a significant tradition up here but me and my Blue Mountain Boys give it our Bluegrass best anyways...really liked your version...great and tight harmonies and nice clean instrumentation...we're comin' down to w.virginie in May...we'll look for ya

  • Great! Let us know when and where.

  • If you guys ever get over to the Richmond VA area I'll defintely come out to hear you play

  • Might be awhile but we'll let ya know and Thanks!

  • you come down to Richmond VA, and I'll come watch you guys play too

  • Oh yeah I forgot to mention I really like your Train 45 pickin. Were you guys from?

  • Is that a Gibson your playing? Granada? I'm looking at a Deering Golden era. What's opinion on the Golden Era?

  • Hi and thanks for the comments. Yeah, I'm playing an Earl Scruggs Standard Mastertone Gibson. I got it in '89. I'm not real familiar with the Deerings but I think Eddie Adcock endorses them so they must be good banjos. We're from West Virginia.

  • SWEEEEEET Pickin.....How long have you been playing the banjer? What kind of banjo are you playing. I'm just beginning to play banjo at the ripe old age of 49.I am aspiring to play as well as you. But I'll take only half as well!!LOL

  • Thanks man. I been playing around 35 years. I'll be 47 in May. Have fun with it 'cause you sure won't get rich at it! lol

  • Most apathetic banjo player I've ever seen. I think I would be a little more enthusiastic if I had such a great talent!

  • Sorry I can't get up and dance you a little jig. Notice the wheelchair? And I don't get into fake enthusiasm. Thanks for the comments though!

  • I love it guys! Keep 'em coming - this is how it was years ago - just good folks getting together to make music and have good times.

  • Way to go fellers! I subscribed to y'all and can't wait to hear more! I've been wanting to learn the mandolin for a few years and i'm getting one next week for my birthday...hope to play like y'all do!

  • These boys are doing it like there is no tomorrow

  • How is that that banjo man can be pickin like a b*stard and look like he's not even working at it? Amazing. good music y'all!

  • I've been playing banjo now for about 9 months or so. The harder I pick, the more I find I have to "retreat" into myself in order to not think. If my mind thinks about what my hands are doing just for a second, I lose my rhythm. So, I have to almost daydream about something in order to make it sound right.

  • Great job man!

  • Definetly American Bluegrass.

    LJH

  • fantastic, you guys rule, well done! loved the banjo! best regards from germany

  • I love this song!!!!

  • I've been recently getting into Bluegrass, and this is my FAVORITE song of them all. You guys do it justice!! VERY good!!
