ummm....no...only two of the original memebers of Brownstine could sing and thats Nicki and Maxi, which is why Mimi was replaced. She couldn't keep up with them.

As for Mimi leaving the group, I read does anyone know the real reason. I read different stories.. some mentioned cat fights and tension between the group members others mentioned Mimi's bronchitis.

That is so crazy I always wondered what REALLY happened to her. I did an interview with the Group for a youth magzine when I was in Highschool, when they 1st came out and got to have one on one time with each member. I gotta say that Mimi was sooo sweet! I was so surprised when a statement came out about her having throat issues and how she would be working in the Groups Fan Club! I was like, that's some Bull! I didn't believe it it for a second. That sucks they treated her so bad in the end.

As someone very close to Mimi, I'm telling you she CAN sing. She is classically trained, can sing jazz, r&b, whatever. She left the group because she and the other girls did not get along and the music company did not have her back. That's it.

That's a lie. All the members could sing. If "Grapevyne" isn't evidence enough for you that Mimi can indeed sing, listen to "Don't Cry for Me" or "Deeper Feelings" or hell, any other song of theirs where she's tearing the background up. Nicci and Maxee can't hit those high notes that she can.
