Hi Robin. Novia Scotia is the only part of Canada I have visited.

I found folks went out of their way (compared to Scotland) to be friendly & welcoming. Maybe more so BECAUSE I was from Scotland, with the old ancestral connections.

One of these days I'd love to go back, especially BC, since I'm into downhill mountain biking. Maybe once this recession is over I might get over & see what the West coast is like.
