I have a moral question. My neighbours have a shitsu. It is a social animal that is alone while they're at work. It's not made for a winter environment, yet they insist on walking it regularly. Does this animal belong among its own kind? Is it cruel for my neighbours to keep it here? They claim to love it, but are they telling the truth?
However, snow is on the ground for months at a time in Edmonton... not good for her exercise. And when she is inside, her floor doesn't look padded AT ALL, which is probably even worse for her arthritis!
Dr Oosterhuis has been discredited over and over. The Edmonton Valley Zoo has
refused to allow any independent veterinarian access to Lucy to evaluate her
health. Out of 11 experts on the possibility of transporting their lone female elephant, Maggie, to a sanctuary, Dr. Oosterhuis was the only one who recommended that Maggie stay in Alaska.
Maggie was successfully moved to a California elephant sanctuary two years ago and is thriving among her own kind.

Liked the walks outside and the physical therapy.
