  • POOOOOR puppy..He seems like such a nice doggie. Hopefully he got all of those damn quills out and is enjoying a nice big bone to enjoy

  • Good Boy !!!! Good Work!!!

  • Bernese Mountain Dogs are bred to chase and hunt porcupines but it looks like this fella wasn't trained. They are the most loving and easygoing dogs on earth. We have one and 'Trixie' is simply a ball of unconditional love. I truly hope 'Bear' is doing fine now and avoids those nasty ol' porky-pines.

  • "IS THIS REAL LIFE!?!?!"

  • My great dane did this TWO days in a ROW! He was good about it but, my vet said she was trying to watch a mini series that week and the GD kept sticking his face in quills. Mostly it was his lips and though he was good enough for me to get them out on my own I wanted him to have some sedation at the vet. Those things HURT when they come out.

  • Amazing how porcupines can passively kill their predators...

  • 0:10 Dog turns around

'' Is there something on my face?''

  • mom: bear r u going to chase the porcupine again?

bear: no mom hurts too much

    mom: good dog!

  • what a good pooch. my dogs would NEVER sit so still for strangers to attend to them. lol

  • "He didn't deserve it..."

I sympathize, but yes he did. Poor dog, but you really can't blame the porcupine.

  • hmmm i didn't know cyst videos go well with porcupine videos.... use the quills to pop cysts? Anyways what the hell is up with all the cyst videos on the side?

  • I didnt laugh.

  • Even with all thise quills, s/he is a gorgeous dog. -3

  • im sorry but my first reaction was to laugh... =(

  • I thought it was dog acupuncture! LOL Hope he's doing well now.

  • LOL, are dogs stupid or what? My dog only goes to them and sniffs on them, these dogs seem to attack them... stupid dogs :S There's no way the porcupine attacked the dog...

  • @mosainagant dogs are smater then you//

i bet when you were a kid///curiosity got you in trouble..

  • @slyonme nop

  • awww poor bear! :(

  • i bet his face must hurt like a bitch poor doggy

  • Deve ser bem doloroso heim! Tadinho! rsrss

  • What are they teaching you people in American Schools? "shooting quills"... Really? I mean seriously? And these youngsters are suppose to be America's future? The ignorance is astounding. The lack of common sense is sad.

  • @likeawhispr

ignorance isn't fussy about nationality. don't be one of those people.

  • AWWWWWWWW POOR BABY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I will wish this pupper doggie lots of love!!'. D;

  • that dog is so cute like my friend's dog but he's dead :(

  • POOR BABY! :'(

  • is the dog ok?

  • was he ok in the end?

  • My boyfriend and I were having a debate over whether porcupines actually SHOOT quills. I have always thought they are able to shoot quills if they feel threatened, but my boyfriend says it is impossible. Did your dog get shot by the porcupine of did he just get poked while trying to attack the porcupine?

Thank you! I am glad your dog is OK, what a cutie. :)

  • @dollydagger509 They CANNOT shoot their quills.

  • @dollydagger509 In order to be 'stuck' with quills you need to come in physical contact with a porcupine. They do not 'shoot' them; they inject the quills.

  • @PaulFranklin45

Thanks for the response. I also, learned that they can "shake" them off if something comes near it.

  • @ monstermaddie17 , no they're not putting him to sleep (not permanently, anyways). They just put him under anesthesia so it isn't as painful for the poor guy when they pull the spikes out. He sleeps right through it. It hurts me heart to see that poor guy hurting too.

  • Awww OMG are they putting him to sleep? This broke my heart

  • Poor puppy!

  • u did not put it asleep they just had to get the needles out right

  • @paigedakota1123 Don't worry, they were only removing the needles. In the case that your pet were to get porcupine needles in themselves, you should always take them to the nearest vet, because the needles can be poisonous if not removed correctly.

  • AWW! poor baby! he is such a good boy! :) No more porcupines for you

  • Poor Baby!!

  • aw it's adorable. and it's name is bear!

  • good boy?? lol no mamen

  • @mbsells77 That's called anaesthesia. Just like humans when we have to go into surgery

  • thats death metal as fuck!!!!!!

  • omg poor dog :(

  • this is why i love dogs, even though he just got shanked in the face he is still uber happy with himself

  • that dog sniffed the wrong ass

  • i think it dog from whisper and howling in pain of it!

  • Comment removed

  • They aren't putting the dog to sleep there just sedating it so that they can remove the quills and not further stress the pooch....

  • Is it me or he is going to do it again? My Dog use to have these every week. Kept pulling them out... Then after that my dog got ran over. Not cool...

  • Not even a male adult lion would fuck with one of those, They're smart enough to know

  • @Strogenforcer

    Really?

    watch?v=_r2rDBVFAv4&feature=fvw
