There's a military fiction novel titled "Invasion" by Eric L. Harry. The Chinese expand and, over the course of ten years, create an empire consuming the Middle East, India, Africa, and Southeast Asia. A weak, isolationist American President refuses to confront them. By the time a stronger President is elected and starts preparing for war, the Chinese already have a foothold in the Caribbean, and land in Alabama and Mississippi. Great boo, this reminded me of it.
If the USSR/DPRK took over the US, how could any communications (Such as the EAS) remain on the air? You'd think they'd have taken over TV and radio...
@tpirrules19a Well, here's my interpretation on your question. If you think about it, there seriously would be no benefit behind taking over Airwaves. Doing that would place enemies in a very vulnerable position with a very, very slim chance of coming out of being vulnerable in one piece....Speaking for myself, if a group of folks took radio and tv, they may aswell play russian roulette since the two go hand and hand...
