In most places it is against the law to ride a bike on the sidewalk. Though this applies more in business areas. Cost me $120 for riding my bike on the sidewalk.

@InJoshsOpinion lol ya it certainly isn't easy to come out to male relatives especially like your dad. I came out to my dad last year, and it didn't go well at first. But now, he accepts me for who I am.
I'm happy you had such a good family, that is the most importaint thing. It makes everything else more easy. The main thing is be proud of who you are and never act "the victim" that makes you such a target for the low life haters.
when you are on a bike going the correct speed limit, traffic laws (here at least) say that you are supposed to use the road and never the sidewalk except to "walk" the bike. If you go less than the speed limit your supposed to either walk the bike on the sidewalk or use the side edge of the road ^^
