ahh this happend to me,we went out of the door then the tank spawned,all my team m8s got incapacitated with all the hunters and smokers right next to the tank,i ran back up into the safehouse closed the door and w8ted for him,he burst through the saferoom door and i filled him up with all my shotgun ammo and yet he didnt die.turns out the guy who played the tank had 1* rep. hmm.......

The tank cannot break the door down unless the survivors take that bar off first. As long as its on the door cannot be broken. If they so happened to remove it during this, expect a bloody mess to follow.

You need to use a file of the same type and replace the existing one in the 'sound' folder in the L4D directory. If you do not want to remove the original file, simply rename it and name the new file identical to the original.

I've seen many times in L4D2 that the Tank spawns near the start, but I'm yet to see it spawn before leaving the saferoom.

I don't mind Witches in the middle of doorways actually... it brings out a purpose. If they're on the side then it's like you can just avoid them completely. If they're closer you actually have to be slow and stealthy, or take her out.

Maybe since the versus patch in L4D where they made Witches in the direct path they put it in L4D2? They did put shove cooldown in campaign

But, if the survivors are bad players, or maybe one is very bad, he could open the door and let the tank in.

This is just a possibility, i know its a very low % that they could open the door, but at least he could ran away to the final saferoom all he can so as, the time the survivors are in is limited(because the door opens after certain time)

The thing is, you do not specify where the Tank spawns. It spawns by itself, and then a player is given control.

This was before the patch that made it such that if one team got a Tank, the other team did at the same place.
