thank you for this video... it gives me hope. My boy was born 21 days ago at 33 weeks and 5lb 4 ounce... he still in the NICU with feeding tube after incubator and a breathing machine called C Pap... blue light and alot of other stuff... he has come so far but now 36 weeks gestation nurses are amping for him to breast feed an its going rather slowly and its frustrating us since he isnt latching yet.
I hope candence is doing well,.... thank u again for the video...
@ClemAngel Thank-you for your comment Terri! Cadence is now a happy & healthy 18 month old. The NICCU was a very difficult time for her parents, especially trying to get her to feed. Like your son, she lacked the gag reflex at birth, was tube fed, then would not suck. It was a VERY slow process and quite frustrating for her parents. I sympathize with you. May God bless you, your family & your son. Miracles do happen & you will soon have the NICCU experience behind you:)
@becerisme Thank you so much! im glad to hear she is doing well. It is so hard to leave him every night. and to know now 2 things to get out of NICU are somethings so simple... weight gain and breast feeding. some days i feel like giving up. he went down 7.7 ounces an took 2 weeks to get it back, It is soooo frustrating. Day 23 feeling blessed he ok yet frustration could be another few weeks to get outa there!
@ClemAngel I hear you. My niece & her husband went through the exact same thing and their frustration grew more and more each day. But, that day finally came as yours will:) I look forward to seeing your video!
