  • Great shot there Keith. Muzzle loader technology is really moving foreward. Savage, makes a great weapon. Again.. good shot.

  • Thanks Keith! was looking for a new Muzzle loader.. will take a look.

  • Awesome gun, I just wish they weren't so expensive. I'd like to get one for next year's ML season.

  • since the powder is goin to burn hotter, what type of bullet would you use?

  • blackpowder muzzleloader hunting is on my bucket list for sure!! Doing so with Keith would be icing on the cake!!

  • Good suggestion

  • Muzzle loaders are interesting ... Just don't know if I have the focus to get into it.

  • Love using a muzzle loader great for long range in ohio

  • Something to think about. . . I enjoy black powder hunting!

  • I black powder hunt and have for several years.

Currently use Pyrodex pellets in my .50 Cal CVA. I really like them

  • Love the show, but my Dad always taught me to stay away from STYROFOAM, while handling POWDER as it has a problem with static electricity. Maybe that was just in the old days with FFG, be safe and happy hunting. A bad day of hunting is ALWAYS better than a good day's work.

  • Thanks for the suggestion!

  • What kind/model is the gun rest? That looks pretty nice.

  • We'll check into that and get back to you.

  • we can't use smokeless powder in Colorado...hell...we can't even use Pyrodex pellets..lol
