okay so i gotta question Ibite, would you recommend getting rock band 3 at this point in its life cycle? i have an old Rock band 1 drumkit and a guitar hero 3 controller. So i was wondering would it even be worth it to get just the disk with the old equipment i have or should i get the new equipment with the game or just not get it?

@TehSplatter Nah far from it I believe the highest score still goes to Where the Light Was Born on Guitar (for non-pro at least). It's essentially non-stop fast strumming of 2 and 3 fret chords for 6 minutes (the high score is just under 900k)

Come to think of it though, technically speaking if you were to make Veil of Illumination one song like it really is, rather than split in two, that would be slightly over 1 million points for a pro FC. Seeing as in the Dragontaser GS videos of both he has a significant amount of misses in both and still gets over 500k on the first half and 430k on the second.

I got this song the first day it came out, and actually requested the 2112 full album on the rockband website in october 2011! I love Rush, and they are probably the best band in MY book! And no, I can't FC on drums. Hisgest I got was 97%

Seriously, Spirit of the Radio has a couple tricky fills, but is only 6 minutes long and is quite easy throughout.

Ok this part right here pretty much sums up my main problem with Harmonix's charting over the past year or two in a couple of seconds. They say they refuse to chart double bass, and yet there's no way in hell those quads are hittable by anyone with a single pedal.

Either don't chart double bass at all, or chart it all. Don't just chart double bass for alternating blasts and quads and in essence screw over people who have single pedals for those sections.

@Nubnut I don't like that double charting either, but they aren't unhittable with one pedal. RTL's double is hittable with one pedal, and its faster. They're are also other instances of ridiculous quads that have been one pedaled. This isn't to say that the decision to chart them like that wasn't stupid though.
