  • Flight of the Bumble Bee using PENCILS >>>

Go to Sunset Office Supply on youTube

  • you need to learn moreee

  • Holy crap am I tired of people commenting "I'm only 14 but...-". Why the fuck is that relevant?

  • hello friend. Do you have the notes of this song?

  • thas skills

  • Bleahhh!!!!

  • this is good but he needs a better piano for this

  • :O

  • faster

  • the girls he fingers never come out the same

  • Play it slower and then gradually up to the normal speed of the piece then you wont have clashing notes that aren't supposed to be there. and also you use of the pedal isn't quite at the right timing every time you release it. just one more thing your notes are more staccato than Legato good attempt though from about bar three just practice over and over again a few bars at a time just played over again and what helps me to learn a piece well is listening to the original. what else can u play?

  • and im NOT asain or something im from israel lalala

  • im 13 and i can play that :) and btw it sound like u play it a bit slow:) wrtite in youtube: maksim playing flight of the bumble bee he play it PERFEFCT

  • Terrible!!!

  • your hand looks like a spider having epileptic attacks :3

  • you too have almost identical piano as I have :D

    BTW,great :D

I like to use "string" effect because on electric pianino "grand piano" sound doesn't sound so good. :D

  • you doing it at about 90-100 bpm when originaly i think its at 120-140 bpm

but very amazing! i wish i could play piano

  • Until you have heard Charlie Balogh play the Bumble Boogie on a Wurlitzer theatre organ, you "ain't heard nothin yet".

  • .....ill be frank here.....it wasnt BAD so to speak but there were alot of errors and it is supposed to played much faster...but keep practicing and im sure you'll get there

  • he mest up alot i think so ....... it doesnt sound like if you want to see this better go on 10 yr old kid plays piano and a girl is playing it and shes asian

  • nicely done. i dont expect you 2 go and do it at violin speed like the 10 year old asians. except yuja wang, shes my fave

  • would sound so much better on a non-keyboard. nicely done!

  • that was absolutely incredible.......outstanding stuff

  • You have to improve at speed allot but if you are a beginner its perfect.keep up the good work

P.S. If you like Chopin then you will have to start with little but fast songs like this.

  • é veiii ta bom só que vc temque aperta a primeira e a ultima pedaleira pra pode o som fica legal pq ta parecendo que teu piano tem corda de aço ....

mas de todo modo foco legal.... = ]

  • Beethoven is definitely one of my faves, but if I'm gonna put one at the top, it's gotta be Chopin.

  • my faves gotta be scott joplin!

  • @sjwpiano mozart!

  • @sjwpiano i personally like elton john, im more in to the slow harmonic pieces

  • @sjwpiano Chopin is my definite favorite. He's so other worldly.

  • Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov was the original composer, but this version was arranged by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

  • nvm =[

  • ok i may only be 14 but ive set myself a goal to -attempt- to play this

  • So am I, but its very hard, learn something like sabre dance of blue rondo al la turk, they are fast but fun to play.

  • @caseykid08 wow, i've just set myself that goal just 2 minutes before reading this, im 14 lol

  • slow...

  • Can I have a copy of this score? Please =)

  • Look for the Rachmaninoff version. I have no idea what I did with my copy. Sorry.

  • well done, i know nothing about the piano but just watching you play makes me dizzy. keep up the good work!

  • Thanx :-)

  • ....................so much error =.=

  • I know, but I won't allow myself to take it down until I have a more polished rendition to put up in its place. Unfortunately, I can't even resume my practice until my injured finger has fully recovered, so it may be a few months or so. :-/

  • good luck then =],

  • ouchy...wat happened to thine finger

    :P

  • alguien saque un maldito tutorial de esta pieza por el amor de dios

  • No hablo español.

  • Maksim version?

I can't play the tenths. Well, I can reach tenths no problem, but I can't just do it with the tempo rising. any tips?

  • Yeah, this is the version that Maksim plays (of course, he plays it muuuuch better). I'm not a good resourse for counsel on how to maintain, increase, or regulate tempo, as I am somewhat challenged in that department myself. Good luck tho. :-)

  • dude thats so cool, id love to have the skill to play like you

  • Thanx, always appreciate a compliment. :-)

  • can u post a tutorial please im 13 and really want to learn it

  • Learn it by notes then???

  • I'll start posting tutorials once I've mastered the process myself. In the mean time, my advice would more likely be a hindrance than a help.

  • IT's good, but up to speed and alot of the notes at the start didn't sound right? Also you peddle a bit to much so the right hand sounds blurred, and the left hand needs to be a bit louder! <<<<< Constructive critiscm, Not trying to put you down!

  • Thanx. I agree on all points. I intend to post a better performance in the future, but am currently recovering from a broken finger.

  • Well, still better than what i can do lol, i'm only grade 6, but have only been playing a year and a half :/ and my finger is fractured to! :(

  • Thanx. Sorry to hear about your finger, hope it heals fast. Stick with the piano, and I'm sure you'll be great!

  • :D Cheers man, you to!

    Peace :)

  • If you've only been playing for 1 1/2 years, I suggest starting at a lower level...I porbably do things that are harder for me too. I'm 13 and I've played for almsot 3 years and I jsut finished Rondo alla Turca.

  • lol No, I like a challenge, now my finger is healed, and I've done my grade 7 exam. I passsed with distinction, just found out today :-D I've ordered the bumle bee music, I'll get it done soon!

  • whould you send me pls the sheet ? hopefully whit the finger markings too

  • Unfortunately, I lost the sheet music to this piece a few months ago when I moved. It shouldn't be too hard to find though, it's the Rachmaninoff transcription, just go to any music store or hunt around online. As for the fingering, mine was purely experimental and probably not the best. I think I may rework it using different fingers.

  • WRONG!!!!!!!!That sounded like The crash of the Mosquito !

  • Funny, but true.

  • @ZombieOwen23 BAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • Have you tried practicing with a metronome before?

  • can you send me the original sheet music ???? ive only got some kind differences thank you !!!

  • I have no idea where it is. Just look for the Rachmaninoff transcription.

  • EXCELLENT!!!

  • can you make a tutorial on this? i've really been working on this piece and i can get the notes but i cant move my fingers fast enough lol

  • Thanx for your keen observation. I suppose when I finally get some new videos up, I may be in the running for "most improved" piano player on YouTube.

  • don't mind sdthird20

    hes a big jerkhead

    hey sdthird10 U BIG beef-JERK-y

  • just a quik question, did u learn this from a music sheet or put it together yourself cus i tried to play the music sheet but found it quite hard to get it

  • Bravo!

  • reminds me of the movie shine

  • are you saying that guy looks retarded?

  • HAHAHA!

  • thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Dont forget to tip your waitress.

  • that was pretty good though, tip the waitress i will!

  • apparently somebody didn't like that joke.

  • well, i gave you a thumbs up, and you do deserve it.

  • thanks

  • your welcome, but seriously, anybody who didnt find that funny has no sense of humor!

  • great job. i know it is obvious and i know its only your first preformance but it was played too slow and didnt do you much favour, maybe you could practise it a lot more then do a re-recording of it played faster with tips that our fellow youtubers have given you?also, remember the left hand, in this particular song because of the speed of the right hand, is meant to be LOUDER then the right hand

  • 10 years old Enzo plays better than you (see his video). I think you need to balance the volume made by your hands, the right one is too loud. Also, never take your hands off the keys and put them on your lap, even momentarily, it's annoying and distracting.

  • to anyone reading that, it sounds harsh but you have to agree azar284 IS correct....

  • you just need to get used to the tempo and youve got it, I realize its a very fast song so it needs alot of practice. For now your doing great because you got the basics of the song.

  • umm yeah

    the rhythm is totally off

    nice effort tho

u need to be more articulated

    and move much much faster

  • Rofl. shut up

  • wait...y is that funny?

    OH I GET IT!

    AHAHHAHAHAHAH

    ...wait ???

  • you should practice more and get your hand to be more flexible. Get them to get use to the speed and the power that you'll need for this song. You should play this song at a tempo of 130. Good Luck!

  • You need more practise. Thats sounds really strange if you doesn't reach the right tempo. If it's any comfort to you I didn't play better ;)

  • You're absolutely right. I've had a bad habit of choosing pieces that are beyond my current ability. I've decided it's time to get back to the basics, so I've just started working on Bach's inventions.

  • I'm curious about it. Moreover I watched "Für Elise" and that's much better as these one.

PS. I like the quality of your vids especially the new one's.

  • Thanks. The video quality is to my Dad's credit; and the playing, to the relative simplicity of the pieces.

  • ive been really trying to learn this song but theres no where on youtube that teaches it.I Can only read sheet music a little but hardly can you help me thanks"?

  • hey that was pretty good, im impressed more by you being able the play the whole song, im having trouble with those ackward chords rachmaninoff has in his transcription. I want to roll the but a piano teacher of mine told me to stretch, is she right?

  • I'm no master, but my suggestion would be to roll unless it is a comfortable reach. Good luck!

  • Hey can you play symphony no 5 of beethoven just a request.

  • whoa dame...nice!!

  • hi there, steve, your dad told me about your channel. awesome skills! take care.

  • Cosi Cosi....!!!!:-P ..!!!

  • Amazing, teach me? LOL
