I agree with you that the hit detection on Black Ops can be pretty bad, but I enjoy playing Black Ops ten times more than I did MW2. Don't know why, maybe just cause like you said MW2 was all about winning whereas Black Ops is about winning for me, but a lot more fun.

I actually bought an adaptor from Turtle Beach that now allows me to use my X41 headset on my PS3 and my PC... so I use that to do my commentary now. Thanks for noticing! I hope it sounded BETTER and not worse! Check out the next video for a better example of it because I think it may have been SLIGHTLY overmodulated in this one....
To me the IW and Treyarch games are very different. The IW games are like a super sports car on rails. The controls are very tight and characters move, corner, stop and start with what always seemed to me was super human power.
Treyarch is more like an old Ford Mustang. Plenty of power, a little sloppy in the corners, but fun to let it all hang out. I do much better playing on Treyarch games, so I enjoy them more of course. I just couldn't keep up with the super fast twitch 12 year olds on IW.
@giff74 Now the networking issues........That is a whole different story altogether. I am on the Xbox and I still frustrated with half full lobbies and cruddy connections.
@giff74 Well, I think for the most part on the Xbox, that's pretty much overwith, or at least that's been my experience. That last patch, I think 1.04 or 1.05 seemed to fix the matchmaking finally.

@Dr0EVIL0DEST I still like the "FEEL" of MW2 more, but I like the game options and features of Black Ops better... plus their ability to keep the mods and hacking out of the game. That has been a nice relief.
I also played them all =D, also i have that feeling all the time. I always feel like the game isnt doing what i want it to do. I have to RLY try to do any good. In CoD4 i have a 1.94 KDR and every game I can rape if I want to, although in BO its like a struggle every game if the lag is working my way or not. Sometimes i watch the killcam and what is going on is nothing like what happened. Hopefully they fix this issue, its bumming me out, it is making want to play CoD4 again.

I kind of felt the same way when I first picked up Black Ops which is why I haven't played a whole lot of it multiplayer wise. It's hard to put into words what is different between the two of them but MW2 just feels so much smoother to me on the whole.
That being said, I'm still looking forward to getting back to college and sinking my teeth into it proper to give it a real chance.

@MaxKarch Well, yea, it looks that way... but what happened is the Party fell apart in Xbox Live. No one actually left, we all just got kicked from the party in the middle of the game...... it happens from time to time.... it's a bug. We had to rejoin up again right after this video ended.
I could not agree more bro. My "koalabearism" to Black Ops compared to CoD4 and MW2 is like buying a pair of Nike's on the black market in Korea, only to get home to find out they are plastic, not even pleather and the emblem is upside down. It's fun. I enjoy playing it, but it does not even come close to the hype. This still has the potential to become the best CoD yet. I just don't think 3arc has the ability.

okay i have a question that is really important i use the same gun as you the galil and i love it i have been using the red dot triangle and dual mag but i dont know if i should take off something for the silencer i use my red dot alot for long range and i use my dual mag for the times were i am in a huge battle please help me
Go into a private match and check out how far the gun will shoot (use a second player as a dummy) with the silencer. compare it and if you feel its far enough then do it, in this game i notice the silence actually effects range unlike MW2 where i notice nothing. Although i use the silencer and i think its 100% fine i even recommend it.
@MultiHitman11 I personally don't recommend the silencer... I think it's hard enough in this game to bring people down, especially at a distance... and decreasing the damage over distance just makes it that much harder... you will most likely get tired of hearing the hit marker sound. ;)

Hey Anakinnnn I think what really makes you a great player is that you have very keen eyes and your reflexes are on spot. You aim may not always be on but yes MOST of the time it is. I admire those traits in people and its more enjoyable to play with someone such as yourself. Makes for a way better team. I'm alot like you in those senses. I know there have been points in the game where I've gone through and just could not get on target no matter what I did. It gets frustrating sometimes. The latency is all over the place, sometimes I win because of it, other times it's biting me in the butt, but you can always tell when it happens. You can tell when you win or loose because of latency between what you are seeing and what others are seeing. It doesn't feel right winning when the other person didn't have a fair shot.
@xJMan240x I completely agree here as well. When I win, I still don't feel a sense of accomplishment like I did in MW2..... I just feel like I got lucky. When I lose, I still feel like I just had bad luck.... not that someone bested me. It's not very satisfying. I like to WIN or LOSE.... not just roll dice and see what happens.
Sadly I haven't been able to make it into one of these yet, your friends list is full every time I add you and try to join.
On the game, I kinda agree. You feel like your character model is hauling a sleigh of bricks in Black Ops sometimes. It also feels like you are playing a game like Fallout sometimes where the hits are all based on dice rolls. Also, when you move sideways the first person view moves outside of the model's head, meaning you're getting shot before you even see them.

@rrupe12345 Sorry Thirb, your Kinect Mic was echoing a LOT and I don't think anyone could hardly communicate with anyone else in the lobby over your mic. You may not have been hearing it and I am sorry. I SOOO rarely ever mute anyone unless it's a technical issue and that's what was going on there. Xbox mics are so cheap, like $10 for the junky ones that come with Xboxs... get your self a mic, STAT!

@sasishaan Thanks, I appreciate it. I don't like to whine or moan, but it's just been on my mind. It's hard for me to give "tactics" on a game where it's so luck-oriented and I was having a hard time trying to tell people what to do. I had so many ideas and theories of gameplay on MW2, I could STILL be doing videos on tactics, tips, and strategies on it.....
MW2 definitely has a better feel to it. I play on PS3 and the network engine part of the game is way better on MW2 too. I've had so many problems on Black Ops I will probably go back to MW2 as soon as the newness wears off.
@lalectx Agreed. I still enjoy the competitive nature of MW2 where you can compete and you truly know who the better player is... Black Ops is much more luck based because of all of the inconsistencies.

i loved modern warfare. its what made COD brilliant. WaW wasnt bad but i didnt like it as much as i loved MW. ill keep black ops for the zombies and the occaisonal online match.
@AUSYMAN01 Hmmm, not exactly the way I would describe it. I think MW2 was a more serious game because it was more consistent which bred better tactics, better players, and much more competition. Black Ops tries to take itself seriously, but it doesn't deliver. It's so inconsistent from one match to the next that there's no competition to be had other than you competing against luck and lag.
I put my 4 N's on today and they looked awesome lol. Anakinnnn is there any way I could game with you sometime? I dont know what times you have open lobbies or anything like that. I just know gaming with you and our fellow Anakinnnn friends would be the best! Mw2 is better in ways but black ops is a upgrade from stuff like custom shit and stuff.
In black ops the maps are too big like Array but its got less glitches.
And sniping is worse they nerved it soooo much it is (almost) impossible to get a nice score and i like quicksoping .
Anyhow I find Mw2 better then black ops . black ops is like a upgrade .

@iSkate7104 Actually, they limit you to 30 seconds regardless of platform. You need an HD-PVR or some other recording device to do what Directors do.

I know there have been points in the game where I've gone through and just could not get on target no matter what I did. It gets frustrating sometimes. The latency is all over the place, sometimes I win because of it, other times it's biting me in the butt, but you can always tell when it happens. You can tell when you win or loose because of latency between what you are seeing and what others are seeing. It doesn't feel right winning when the other person didn't have a fair shot.

@xJMan240x I completely agree here as well. When I win, I still don't feel a sense of accomplishment like I did in MW2..... I just feel like I got lucky. When I lose, I still feel like I just had bad luck.... not that someone bested me. It's not very satisfying. I like to WIN or LOSE.... not just roll dice and see what happens.

Sadly I haven't been able to make it into one of these yet, your friends list is full every time I add you and try to join.
On the game, I kinda agree. You feel like your character model is hauling a sleigh of bricks in Black Ops sometimes. It also feels like you are playing a game like Fallout sometimes where the hits are all based on dice rolls. Also, when you move sideways the first person view moves outside of the model's head, meaning you're getting shot before you even see them.

@rrupe12345 Sorry Thirb, your Kinect Mic was echoing a LOT and I don't think anyone could hardly communicate with anyone else in the lobby over your mic. You may not have been hearing it and I am sorry. I SOOO rarely ever mute anyone unless it's a technical issue and that's what was going on there. Xbox mics are so cheap, like $10 for the junky ones that come with Xboxs... get your self a mic, STAT!

It's hard for me to give "tactics" on a game where it's so luck-oriented and I was having a hard time trying to tell people what to do. I had so many ideas and theories of gameplay on MW2, I could STILL be doing videos on tactics, tips, and strategies on it.....

MW2 definitely has a better feel to it. I play on PS3 and the network engine part of the game is way better on MW2 too. I've had so many problems on Black Ops I will probably go back to MW2 as soon as the newness wears off.

i loved modern warfare. its what made COD brilliant. WaW wasnt bad but i didnt like it as much as i loved MW. ill keep black ops for the zombies and the occaisonal online match.

@AUSYMAN01 Hmmm, not exactly the way I would describe it. I think MW2 was a more serious game because it was more consistent which bred better tactics, better players, and much more competition. Black Ops tries to take itself seriously, but it doesn't deliver. It's so inconsistent from one match to the next that there's no competition to be had other than you competing against luck and lag.

@TheK1LL3R88 Yes, but there's even more to it than that...... it's even the bullets and the damage and the penetration of bullets through walls and other players..... it just feels NATURAL..... compared to Black Ops which feels like you are struggling through a video game world.

OH and yeah i have been saying the exact samething about how much different BO is from CoD4 and MW2. Remember how when MW2 first came out and everyone was like this is freaking awesome and BLAH BLAH BLAH, now everyone hates it? i slowly am beginning to think that is whats gonna happen to black ops even though its a freaking awesome game.
Btw i play the original CoD on the 23!!! its so freaking crazy and fun! hahah
oh i also couldnt see the NNNN at the end cause of the 240p quality!
