I am African American- born in raised in the heart of Baltimore inner city. i remember when I was about 12, I received a book, that I placed on my shelve and left it there for about 3 months befor i decided to pick it up again. I was amazed by the little white girl on the cover and I wonder, what was so special about her. I read this book and couldnt stop, i felt as those i was reading my sisters secreat notes. I was amazed by this book. THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANKS. WOW!!
My goodness I wonder if she is ashamed of this endorsement now.
