  • i thought that japanese already stop their metal genre at 80s....its good to see them still available.....rock on!!

  • @012013014 You'd be amazed how many 80s and early 90s Japanese metal bands are still together. Onmyouza isn't quite that old, but still dozens that are that old stayed together which is awesome! :3

  • VERY NICE

  • This band is awesome!

  • this band kick ass

  • *jaw drops* absolutely f**king amazing!!! I am blown away by this this is going straight in my favourites!!!!

  • I love the cover art, so epic

  • i really adore this song <3

    ty for upload

    .

    5 stars

  • nice guitar solo....

  • omg the guturals in this song rock

  • ...............

  • MAOU is Samurai oda nobunaga in Japan at Warring States Period.

    (maou means Beelzebub)

  • Actually Maou means God :)

  • haha nvm what I said..I was thinking of another word ^^

  • Are they praising what Nobunaga did or are they just singing about how he's the Demon King? Mind you, I think what Nobunaga did in his time was right

  • This band is always still amazing. Check my channel, I uploaded some of their older songs

  • I luv Onmyouza so much and i couldn't believe it was one of their songs, it just sounds soooooooo much perfect, fuckin' amazing^^

  • people should understand what onimusha (onmyouza) means before claiming that the voice of the akuma do not fit in this song.

  • I often dont listen to bands with clean vocals,,,but this sounds really awesome and good \m/ <3

  • i can tell by ur user name...

  • I actually only listen to clean-vocals now haha:P (3 months later)

  • It's kind of a traditional style of Japanese singing, and if you were able to understand what they were saying, went very well with the song

  • Oh sorry, my bad. Actually, that sounds pretty cool too you know

  • he is depicting and oni's voice, meaning demon. it doesn't ruin the song it makes it better

  • SO! How many other Bands do that?

MANY! too many. even singing like that

    dareka zenzen wakatanai get it?

  • it does not ruin the fucking song it makes it better. now shut the fuck up and don't replay

  • see I knew if you said something els you'd say something really dumb, but I'm not gona let that piss me off cus you don't know a thing about me, this is only the internet, so yeah good day

  • I'm curious, can you enlighten me on this real Japanese metal? Also, what makes this so unreal?

  • sure - LOUDNESS, EZO, Earth shaker

    Anthem, Vow wow.

Musically its fine & they singing in the begining is good, its when they use the Terrible singing that SO MANY bands do its not being your self. when you hear Loudness or EZO you know its them by the singers voice.

  • Those are all really good bands too and Onmyouza aren't that bad either. It's just that Onmyouza have a more theatrical presentation of their music you know? That's why they have varying vocal styles

  • @groovybassline

actually, Onmyouza play a curious mixture of metal and progressive rock, mingled with traditional japanese elements. There are some straightforward metal songs, but there are also some songs that can't be categorized, since the styles used within the same song range from metal, over pop and rock to jazz. "Real"Japanese metal is probably something that is anything but progressive or experimental, in short something that the fascist "grailkeepers of trueness" approve of ;-)

  • dude, NWOBHM and Thrash influences are totally apparent in a lot of their songs, more so than progressive rock. The only thing that makes it have 'traditional japanese elements' is the way they play the minor scale, their lyrical content and image. Very little of their songs actually have a Japanese instrument playing

  • I fucking love japanese metal, I would catagorize most japanese metal bands as 'stuck in the 80s' not at all a bad thing; in fact its great and familiar. I like this band, I think they are pretty good, its a nice change of pace. I have to say that my favourite japanese band is either mastermind or Galneryus.

  • @dudewhosaysarrh yo, I take it back. I totally realize the progressive influence in a lot of their songs.

  • The guitar destroys! The unison sounds EPIC!!!!

  • is great song j~music rulz

  • well, sorry about you disappointment.

just go back to your britney spears CDs and stop crying.

  • agreed...this album is EPIC and beautiful!!!

  • This album just leaves me speechless. It's absolutely amazing!

  • I LOVE Maoh Taiten CD and Kokkui No Tennyo CDS! Arigatou!
