That is my favorite color for a cairn, my girl had the same coat/face. She had a cool tiger striping underneath that I would trim with the lowest setting to reveal. RIP Taffy

My Cairn terrier is black too, with grey shades. Absolutely the best little friend in the world. The sweetest face of any dog.

I think you should keep him. He is adorable.
I have a black cairn terrier as well named Natasha.We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family.
