@viciousclan To get attention and make other directors look at thier work, to create names for themselves as freaks of the film making world and to give comparison to good films to make them look even better?

...or, hell, maybe its based on a book or something?

@14597ojai The movie is actually based off of the book called The 120 Days of Sodom by Marquis de Sade. Pier Pasolini simply adapted the book into the film.

youre right, the subtitles were wrong, unless that was you taking the piss. as far as i can hear/remember, the joke he told was What does a Bolsheivik do when he jumps into the red sea? He goes SPLASH!
