  • Thats the bike i might be getting. Not for roads just 4 riding around! If i have enough money :/

  • Nice bike, my 1978 XL 75 looks exactly like that, just I bit smaller lol

  • good thing you got the loud exhaust. it almost blocks out the sound of the camchain sawing through your engine!!!!

  • Thanks for the video I am curious about that muffler getting hot enough to

burn your leg I know the heade pipe gets hot does the supertrapp get hot

    enough to burn you?

  • The exhaust sounds too hollow for me, As if it needs some baffle inside it.

  • 67MPH wanted to go more....1978 XL 125

  • love the bike! i have 1984 xl125. Just out of curiosity how much was your exhaust? i want one for my bike as its kinda rusty and alot of welds around it. Cant seem to find a decent standard one.

  • I love these old little Hondas. I have a 1974 CB125S that I am restoring. It is solid and the engine fires up first time and sounds beautiful.

  • ;-) my bike 1976

  • Sounds Nice A hair load Very NiceThanks.

  • im thinking about getting the same bike, but is it big enough to fit a 280 lbs man on it? would it have enough power to carry me around?

  • You lucky dog ! thanks for sharing. I love the older Honda's myself ., Your bike is really sharp and sounds great ! Good luck Sir and ride safe.

  • I have one to but not moded and it still hits 70 but the gear box is going to hell mail me if u know wear to get one please

  • the pipe is the same as the old Bassani pipes, only gave good performance if you put a powrol 150 kit and rejetted the kehin carb.Raced one in 1971, LT2s would still outrun it.

  • ezekk jo gepekk nekemis vann egy ijenemm sokatt kinoztamm de jokk soha semi baja nicsss szuper gepekkkkk ne add ell sohaa seee :D:D:D:)):)):))

  • iv got one ot these bikes

straight through exsaust got 72 mph on it one day

  • I'm hopefully going to be getting one of these 125's soon, and I think I'm gonna go for the SuperTrapp exhaust as well. Great video, thanks!

  • That thing needs a larger pilot jet.You here how it kind of pops off of idle to mid throttle.

  • nice bike, love the old school style

  • Nice example, XL's rule, have a 1979 250s & an 84 250r, wish i had a 125 like yours for me boy to ride on, hard to find in the UK, classic! Like you say Honda's last forever :)

  • NICEEEE

  • yeah with more rings its louder but thats because more importantly it flows better. great to have an exhaust you can change the flow characteristics with. makes jetting and tuning much easier

  • in 1973 there was only a 175 xl show the information plate on front

  • This is a 1978- the XL didn't come out til 1974. I had a 74 model. Boring out these 125s is the biggets mistake- I had a 155cc kit- the transmission can't take it. As a 125 they will last forever.

  • how loud is it

  • show it with 18 rings please

  • very good vid man , i got an 1982 xr80 in good shape !

  • Ahh nice shape. It's three years older than my Yamaha DT 175, this one's in really good shape, my DT has a dent in the gas tank, that's the biggest thing. How many miles does this have on it?

  • ?YEAH honda i have a 83 xr 80 sum problems once in a while but other than that its a super great bike

  • iv got the same bike

  • crap

  • u look like my neighbor

  • very nice bike sounds great

  • awesome bike, its in very good shape for what year it is!

  • HAHA! My first bike in '76...great little scoot!!!!

  • cool bike. is it an on-road or off-road?

  • It's a dual sport.

  • o. thanx. now I know what it is

  • were world u get supertrp exust from ?

  • nice

  • wots the top end on that because i have a 1982 one and it does 65 mph and just wonderin if i can get it to go any faster

  • Only once I burried the throttle, and I was going 60mph. Although, it's reving pretty hard. I usually keep it arround 45mph when I'm cruising up and down the back roads.

  • @whiteyboy313 change your rear sprocket to a smaller one or upsize the front one. you will loose some lower power but have faster highway speed

  • lovely example of an XL125,they're good bikes, look cool, and sound just the job.i would'nt part with that one, they're a classic in the UK.

  • great condition dude.

  • What size was your exhaust, I want to order the same for my XL125, before I go pick it up from the bay.

  • Is this the "race" edition or the street model?

  • cool great bike

  • Did u have to weld that on? i haven't got my Honda yet but very excited to. i get it sat.

  • Where do u get your parts? im buying a Honda XL 125 1974...where can i get some good parts?

  • Very hard to find parts, although I have had great luck with my local Honda dealership. As for the SuperTrapp exhaust, the "Universal" muffler hasen't changed in many years and would still fit on your bike.

  • hey does this supertrapp exhaust make a differense in power

  • Yes, the increase in low-end torque and high-end horsepower is quite remarkable even though this bike is only a 125cc, well, a 138cc actually because of the big-bore kit. The exhaust is what sets this bike from other 125cc's.

  • To clarify more, the discs (or "rings") are more importantly used to adjust the power band of the engine. The more discs used, the louder, higher up the peak power and torque, and leaner it makes the fuel mixture. So if you want more low-end grunt, use fewer discs, but if you want more peak power at the sacrifice of low and mid range power (as well as noise), then use more discs.

    Nice bike! :)

  • nice freakin bike

i just got an xl with a xl 185 motor in it

    its badass
